“The staff were very friendly thankyou.It is a great place to stay for the piece hall,train station and other places of interest in Halifax.My room was spacious. “Accomodation was perfect for us as we were travelling with our small dog. Excellent selection of coffee and teas in the room. Staff were all really helpful and friendly. We had our evening meal in the hotel, whih was excellent, as was our breakfast the following morning. Lovely town to stay in with plenty of pubs restaurants and bars. We will definitely stay again when in the area. ”

“We booked an overnight stop at the Cambridge hotel, on Saturday's very hot day. The room was on the second floor, but there was a lift. The room had a fresh smell and though fairly small, it had all the usual facilities - with the addition of a fridge. We were struck by how really clean it was. The bedding was good quality, and the the air-conditioning unit over the door was the best surprise - perfect for a hot, humid night! We had breakfast in the morning, with freshly made scrambled eggs...

“Hotel is in beautiful surroundings. The connecting pub next door was amazing and served a really nice breakfast in the morning . Staff were really helpful and overall really enjoyed our stay. “Really nice reception staff and made us feel welcome and was really nice to us as we stayed there because my daughter had an operation and needed to rest after and they made sure we had everything we needed and one of them even offered to fill her hot water bottle for her stomach. So thank u. The rooms are small but u dont need much when it's just for a rest spot for a few days. Thanks again to the staff and making sure my daughter had everything she needed. Much appreciated.”
