“Super clean room, was nicely designed & a warm welcome. Had dinner at the restaurant which unfortunately the service wasn’t great really slow & forgot one of our parties meal & drinks order (I would understand if it was super busy but it wasn’t) but they were friendly in general couldn’t fault that. The hotel was lovely giving really cosy vibes & the receptionist was lovely. Would recommend & the surrounding area is really nice for walks. ”

“The breakfast was delicious hommade food, woth lots of choice, added fruits and yogurt. Very tasty. The hosts made you feel like home, very well woth communication and making sure you're happy. The room I stayed was Gretna amd they are stylishly simple and comfortable. There's fresh water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and even a delicious hommade cookie. Shower was super clean, with Shower gel, shampoo and vanity kit available. ”

The Old Woolhouse ligt aan een rustig straatje op een steenworp van de drukkere straten. Bezoek de in bont zandsteen opgetrokken kathedraal en het aan de noordkant van de stad gelegen kasteel dat centraal staat in de Engels Schotse geschiedenis. Carlisle is een ideale springplank voor de bezoeken aan het Lake District.”

“We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!”

“Ett stiligt, mysigt hotell med gamla anor. Låg väldigt centralt. Vi hade lite svårt att hitta dit trots googlemaps. Hade behövts några skyltar i de smala gatorna.Mycket trevlig personal, fantastisk frukostbuffé och mysiga, gammeldags rum.”

“Rooms are good size clean , the staff at the Smiths are so welcoming, friendly as well as hard working, making sure our stay was 1st class.parking we had no trouble finding a space , as for the air conditioning it was explain it was not working, and we was provided with a fan ,we all had a wonderful stay at the smiths we will come again”
