Kom och njut av den fridfulla lugnet i denna nya lakefront-reträtt bara 5 minuter från de pittoreska badbutikerna och restaurangerna i Boothbay Harbor! Uthyrningen är en privat, ljus, rymlig lägenhet i den lägre nivån av hemmet med 9-ft tak och massor av fönster och glas för att se det vackra vattnet och solnedgångarna från varje rum. Njut av stjärna som tittar, fiskar, badar eller välj bland fyra kajaker eller roddbåtar för att utforska det milslånga sjövatten. Gå ut genom de franska dörrarna till gräset och luta dig tillbaka i en oändlighetsstol och lyssna på vinden i träden och se solen gnistrar från sjön, eller ta den korta vägen som leder till den privata bryggan med badstege och simma, lägga ute på en handduk i solen eller sitta på en trädstubbe nära vattenkanten. Det stora sovrummet har en queen size-säng belägen snyggt för att se ut över vattnet. Två valbara fällbara sängar i vardagsrummet rymmer 2 till och kan byggas upp som en större säng. Enheten har ett litet men fullt utrustat kök med helt nya rostfria apparater för din bekvämlighet. Badrummet har dubbla handfat. Njut av en egen ingång, värme och luftkonditionering i den egna zonen och parkering för 1 fordon. WIFI och Sling TV med nyhetspaket på en smart TV (också redo för din Netflix, Amazon Prime eller annan anslutning) ingår. Spel och pussel ligger i garderobshyllorna för att uppmuntra till en kopplad upplevelse. Fastigheten ligger på en lugn återvändsgränd som leder till trottoarer till staden. Att gå den vackra havssträckan till stan tar cirka 20 minuter eller ta 5 minuters bilresa i en bil. Detta är en utmärkt startplats för att utforska resten av Boothbay-regionen också! Ta vandringsleder i området, välj en båttur för att se pittoreska öar och fyrar, ta ett dopp i havet från en av områdets steniga stränder eller se den närliggande botaniska trädgården. Everything about our stay was fantastic. We really enjoyed the views, kayaking on the lake, seeing the stars, and listening to the loons. The location is perfect...close to the town, beaches, and trails, but also quietly secluded for that perfect peaceful getaway. The house was extremely clean, inviting, and comfortable. Wendy was a very generous and gracious host and made sure our stay was special. We can't wait to visit again

Our third stay was just as charming as the first two. The beauty of the lake, the serene accommodations and locale cannot be topped. The apartment is so cozy and comfortable. We've stayed in many vacation rentals, but this is our favorite. We'll be back.

Lovely, quiet spot with plenty to do nearby

We stayed at this lovely lake house near Boothbay Harbor. We had all we needed and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Kayaking on the lake and hearing the loons in the morning made our trip. Quaint downtown Boothbay Harbor is also less than a 10 minute drive. The hosts were also terrific!

Little piece of paradise!

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful property. The loons serenaded us every night! Everything you could possibly need is there. Great location, 7 minutes to Maine Botanical Garden, mile to Boothbay Harbor. Perfect place to quiet water kayak. I'll definitely be back.

A Perfect Place to Stay!

If you plan to visit Boothbay Harbor, you won't find a better place! The lakefront property is very close to town but offers a quiet location in a private neighborhood. Beautiful and bright interior in a natural setting. One of the best places I've stayed at. Great for kayaking and fishing too!

Lakefront Home Away From Home

We absolutely loved staying at this peaceful waterfront property. The interior was spacious, very clean and our host provided everything that we could possibly need. This property has such a homey feel to it. It is a real gem and a lovely home away from home.

Our peaceful getaway

This is our second stay at Wendy and Jim’s place. Once again it didn’t disappoint. The place is beautiful, quiet, and has everything you need. We enjoyed as much time by the water as we could taking in the Eagles, loons and the occasional seagull communal bath!! It’s so close to town that one could probably walk if they were energetic, but that’s not us. Once again my sister and her fiancé joined us for a few days because they also love it there. Would highly recommend for those that want a relaxing stay. Wendy and Jim are awesome to deal with.

Boothbay Bliss

Wendy's place was serene, and immaculate! Every one of us enjoyed this place. From the kayaks to the fishing or just enjoying the peacefulness from sunup to sundown this place was wonderful! The cottage was so cute and quaint with beautiful decor, the shower felt like a massage! Wendy was so kind and accommodating. The amenities of this place exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return to visit, and definitely recommend to others as well! Five star everything!

Lovely Serene Place!

This was our second stay and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Boothbay. The apartment is spacious, charming, and well equipped. We loved sitting by the lake watching the birds, and kayaking using the ones provided. In Boothbay our favorites were Cabbage Island Clambake, the wonderful two story bookstore with every kind of book plus toys and games, Mung Bean, an artisan's collective, and eating at the waterfront restaurants. I can't recommend Wendy's place any more highly. Plus, she is super nice and friendly!

Our secret gem

Apartment is not how I would describe our place. We felt like we were in our own little sanctuary. Wendy has done wonders with the downstairs of her house. Spending the morning drinking coffee while looking out the French doors to the lake was so peaceful. The huge bathroom with double sinks worked out well when my sister joined us. We spent hours by the water enjoying the wildlife. The place was supplied with everything we needed and showed a lot of special touches that Wendy has put into the place. We are already planning to book again.

Restful home, thoughtful hosts

We never return to the same spot twice BUT this VRBO has made us change our mind. Lovely view across a lake. Quiet location with beautifully decorated space. The hosts were very thoughtful which enhanced our stay. The lodging is ideal for 2 people who may have 1-2 children. There are lots of games and Lego in the closets, dock on the lake, and outdoor grill. Note: there is no dishwasher or clothes washer, only one bathroom but it is LARGE, and the refrigerator is NOT full size. If these are only inconveniences than consider this a great place to visit in Boothbay, Maine

Quiet & Enjoyable

Just as the title says.....we wanted to get away (just the two of us) for a long weekend where it was quiet and we'd have the ability to reconnect. This location was perfect for us. Beautiful lake in the backyard, no street noise, very clean, just perfect. Easy ride into town, great location.

A great visit

Our host was very flexible and helped with some needed changes. The accommodation has lovely views overlooking the lake with all the bird life keeping us occupied. We walked most mornings as the neighborhood is quiet for a pleasant stroll. Apartment is nice, but we limited our cooking mainly to breakfast as kitchen is adequate but quite small. The bathroom and shower were great and the views from the windows in the comfortable bedroom were lovely as well, Our best trip was to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Don't miss it.

Quiet stay on the lake

This is a beautiful property on the lake. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed using the kayaks and relaxing by the lake. Downtown Boothbay Harbor is only a 5 minute drive away with lots of shops and restaurants. Wendy was great at communicating with us and always replied quickly. Hope to visit again! Thank you!
