Sea Lavender Cottage i Mid Coast Maine är redo att avnjutas! Ligger inom meter från Great Salt Bay i Newcastle. Denna nyligen "präglade" stuga sport kreativa arkitektoniska detaljer, omfattande stuga fokuserad stil och bekvämligheter, färska möbler som är både funktionella och nyckfull, alla nya apparater och inventarier, ett utseende och attityd som inbjuder och inspirerar avkopplande engagemang med all naturens saltvattenaktivitet i Maines första marinskyddade resurs. Du delar denna naturliga skönhet med örnar, fiskgjuse, blå häger, lumar, en tillfällig säl, förhistoriska hästskokrabbor, ostron, och på våren över en miljon ölkvinnor som passerar vid bryggan för att leka i sötvattnet i den närliggande Damariscotta sjön. De allra första gästerna sa att de kommer till Maine varje sommar för att utforska och upptäcka alla unika aktiviteter i kustnära Maine och dess byar. Ändå tyckte de att Sea Lavender Cottage var så bekväm, glädje fylld och känslomässigt uppfyllande, de ville inte lämna varje dag .... förutom att starta kajakerna och gå med i vackra bukten. Nu är det din tur...

Sea Lavender Cottage skapades 2016 av ägarna till Beckoning Bay Cottage som öppnades 2009. Båda stugorna har haft nästan full säsongsbeläggning, mest med återvändande kunder och många entusiastiska recensioner. Med dessa två stugor på angränsande fastigheter har fler möjligheter att njuta av de många charmarna i Mid Coast Maine, den avkopplande miljön i Great Salt Bay och tillgången till US Route One i närheten.
MBR är extra stor med en king size-säng och eget badrum. Den andra BR är mindre rymlig men har en full storlek säng och ett direkt angränsande badrum.

Our stay was perfect from the moment our host met us at the property and gave us a complete tour, until we left on the last day.The tasteful and beautiful touches were fantastic. We enjoyed the sunrises, the wildlife, kayaking, playing pool, playing the piano, cooking in the well equipped kitchen and reading on the deck.We are already planning a return trip.

Relaxing family vacation in mid-Coast Maine

They say you can't go home again, but if you're a native returning to Maine (like us), you can come pretty close to it by staying at the Sea Lavender Cottage!We were four adults and an infant and there was plenty of room inside and outside. The Cottage is exceedingly clean and tastefully furnished and decorated. The views from the deck are stunning and we spent a lot of time with the provided binoculars watching the antics of the wildlife on the tidal river. We also used the kayaks to explore much the area. The Cottage is located nearby to the very charming town of Damariscotta. That region of state offers many nice attractions for coastal day trips.David is an exceptional and kind host. He made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. He gave us a quick tour of the property when we checked in and offered helpful tips for our visit. When we left, he was interested in any feedback regarding our stay. We hope to stay there again.

Maine Waterfront Cottage was perfect in all ways. The cottage was beautiful, no detail was left out. From the spectacular views to the spacious accommodations, it was the perfect retreat. So easy to get to town for great food and shopping. David was the perfect host, he went above and beyond, was so welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful host, wonderful views

House is clean and comfortable with everything in working order. We lacked for nothing and enjoyed the small touches, such as the in-person welcome from David and the goodies he left for us. We spent time relaxing and taking in the beautiful view, as well as kayaking and light hiking in the area. We'd definitely recommend this property!

Perfection

We loved our stay at this cottage. It had a beautiful waterfront, location, with bright big windows and a gorgeous view from everyone. The decor and comfort of the home is the best we’ve ever stayed in. There are many luxuries to enjoy and comforts everywhere you turn. The owner, David, is very accommodating and even offered us an early check-in and a late check out so we could extend our stay. He was gracious and helpful, but also respected our privacy. A nice touch was every morning when we woke up, the driveway had been freshly salted. A wonderful experience and I would highly recommend.

It Is A 10!!!!!!

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient. A want for not kitchen for meals taken at the property. A view that promotes relaxation. Restaurants, groceries and especially Simmons Fish Market for reasonable priced fresh seafood. And the original Reny's for great bargains. Great communication with the host.

Wonderful stay

Amazing property, even better than the photos. Dave is a fantastic host and it was truly a wonderful stay. We had nice weather and really enjoyed going out on the deck to enjoy the sun. Also played lots of pool and the sun rise in the morning is breathtaking. We will hope to return soon!

My friend Val and I were looking for some serenity for a few days and we found it in Newcastle. The views from the house are magical and watching the wildlife interact with the bay was just fantastic. I cannot think of a single negative to share and we plan on going back in the spring.

Weekend getaway

We were two couples visiting the area for the Damariscotta Pumpkin Festival. David’s house was amazing - a beautiful view of the river, immaculately clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The weather didn’t permit us to use the kayaks or spend as much time out on the deck as we would have liked, but we enjoyed the indoor space and the pool table in the basement. David lives in the carriage house in the property and personally welcomed us and gave us a tour and showed us how everything worked. He was flexible with his usual checkout time of 10:00, which we felt was unusually early and allowed us to stay until 11:00. Our weekend stay was a real treat.

We Hated To Leave

This cottage is so charming and comfortable and the water view is delightful. Dave is the perfect host, immediately attentive to any questions or problems. We also appreciated the cheese, wine and English muffins and coffee that he left for us. We managed to try most of his restaurant recommendations and they were spot on. Damariscotta is only a mike or so away with cute shops, good restaurants and a fabulous Hannaford’s Grocery. I hope we can return soon!

Wonderful vacation

We love Sea Lavender, it has all the comforts of home from AC to a washer and dryer. The deck is a great place to relax with a glass of wine and watch the eagles, osprey and herons. The owner, David is a wonderful host, very helpful if there are any issues. Hope to return next year!
