The morning desk clerk was not friendly at all we had breakfast and then our room key would not work so went to get that fixed she acted like it was our fault the key still didn’t work the battery was out in the door and she still acted like we were putting her out for help into our room. ”

“Don't sleep here, at least not on a Saturday. The rooms were good but our room faced some that played incredibly loud music until 2 in the morning so we didn't sleep well, which is the point of a hotel. They could have warned us, given us earplugs, another room and or compensation. No one should fool me that they didn't know anything. Apparently Backyard has gigs every Saturday.”

“We spent a weekend in Waco and stayed at the Hotel 1928. The stay was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a drink in the bar and morning coffee in the library. A beautiful spot to relax and refresh. ”

“The sofa bed seriously needs to be changed out with a new mattress or a better quality sofa bed. We couldn’t even use the sofa bed because you can feel the wires because the mattress was so thin. My son slept on the floor that night. The ironing board was missing from the unit and when the staff brought us one it was broken. The screw bolt that holds the legs together was missing. The check in took longer than we anticipated due to the room not being ready. The location of the hotel is...
