Hotell nära Portos botaniska trädgård

"The hotel is beautiful and I got some perks like really late check out (4pm). The check in process was very slow though. Took around 10 minutes. Porto is gorgeous and this hotel has the perfect location from where to discover Porto. No gym on site and no collaboration with an external gym"

"The reason to book HF Ipanema park is that it is not in the city centre and that is has an outside pool. The problem is that by the outside pool they play ridiculously loud music. Which makes sense at night but not during the day. So the calmness you are looking for during the day with some music in the background ends up being so loud music that in hurts your ears. When we asked if they could lower the music they responded that they are not allowed from management. So I would never stay at this hotel again for this sole reason and if you are staying hear, bring good earplugs for the pool area. The music is also really bad background music that you hear in stores where you buy clothes but a lot louder. They also raise the music during the day in intervalls. Overall hotel. Not five stars even though measured in Portuguese measures. Very unhelpful personnel, except maybe in the restaurant. It seems that none who work there are happy with their place of work. Any question was met with short and ridiculed answers. I asked for conditioner for the hair and the response was ’no’ with a smirky smile like I was stupid. No I would not recommend this hotel. It needs a change in management. Rooms are clean according to Spanish/portugese standards. Gym area and inside pool nice. Breakfast with fresh fruits but not a wow moment. "
