This cottage, 2km from the sea, is in the heart of Lacanau Golf Complex - a golf course with both an 18 and a 9 hole course. Set in a pine forest, the combination of the sea air and the fresh smell of the pine make this a very healthy and relaxing environment.
The cottage Is very well appointed,, sleeping 5 comfortably.

Accommodation
The accommodation downstairs consists of a kitchen, living area and shower room. The open plan galley kitchen and living area has French windows leading to a patio and the back garden.
The shower room has a shower, washbasin and loo and houses a washer/dryer too.
The acommodation upstairs consists of the main bedroom, the mezzanine area and the bathroom.
The bedroom has a double bed and fitted wardrobe. The mezzanine area has three single beds and is ideal as an area for children / teenagers. The bathroom has a bath, shower attachment, washbasin and loo.
Bed linen and towels are available at a supplementary cost

The cottage is in a terrace of 12 cottages & apartments forming part of an L- shaped development built by a Swiss company in 1982. Nestling in a pine forest in the centre of the 18 hole golf course which is part of Lacanau Golf Complex. Cycle tracks abound & weave through the forest.

Lacanau-Ocean, with four wonderful sandy beaches and surf, is 30 miles NW of Bordeaux. It is on the international surf circuit and is an ideal family holiday destination. Close to the beach, lake & wine region of the Medoc with its famous chateaux, this area provides the ideal centre for those wanting a sporty holiday, for those keen to visit the wine region, or for those who just want to unwind and relax in this healthy environment. It is also an ideal retreat out of season for those who love natural surroundings and empty beaches

Lacanau Lake is 5 minutes drive away. There is a sandy area where you can picnic and children can play. A shallow area of the lake is roped off and supervised by lifeguards during the day in peak season so that young children can swim in safety.

Cottage 1 & 2 are next door to each other and can be rented individually or both together.

Accommodation
Downstairs: Bedroom with twin beds: shower room with shower, washbasin and toilet; open plan kitchen newly refurbished & well-equipped; lounge/ dining room with French windows opening on to the patio with garden furniture and a BBQ.
Facilities
The kitchen is very well equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and automatic washing machine. There is lots of cooking equipment for those keen to enjoy home cooking. The lounge/dining area has a double sofa bed, 2 armchairs, dining table & chairs, a telephone wifi and cable TV.

Upstairs: Main bedroom with double bed and ample storage space and room for a cot too; a mezzanine area with 3 single beds; bathroom with bath, shower attachment, washbasin and toilet.
A travel cot and high chair are available for use by our guests and there is a safety gate at the top of the stairs. Books and games/toys make it home from home..
Linen is available for hire on request.

A washer dryer is housed in the shower room.
Books and games/toys are available on the mezzanine level for children to access. A travel cot is kept in the wardrobe in the main bedroom and a high chair is available too. There is a safety gate at the top of the stairs.
Bed linen and towels are available for hire on request.

The sea and lake are about 5 minutes drive away offering great opportunities for surfing and multiple beach and water sports. The cottages are in the centre of a golf course about 2 minutes walk from the Club House and the first tee providing an ideal location for the keen golfer. There is an excellent tennis and squash complex within easy walking distance and many people hire bikes to enjoy the numerous cycle tracks meandering through the forest.The renowned Medoc wine region is close by, offering visits to the many vineyards for wine-tasting. The magnificent historical city of Bordeaux is approximately 50 km /one hour's drive

Lacanau Océan is famous for its surf and it hosts the French Pro in August which attracts surfers from around the world. There is a surf club which teaches all the sports relating to the surf and everyone has a lot of fun in the waves. The many beautiful sandy beaches, stretching as far as the eye can see, are a perfect venue for playing beach games, kite surfing/flying, sunbathing, watching surfers or just watching the world go by.
Restaurants abound during the summer season and Lacanau has several supermarkets and an interesting weekly market on a Wednesday giving plenty of choice to holidaymakers.

These 2 cottages are in the centre of a golf course, providing a base for your holiday. They are compact, but well equipped and the rooms and gardens are small, as you would expect to find in cottage-style houses.
The patios of both cottages provide a tranquil haven even in peak season and many a happy hour is spent relaxing in the filtered sunshine.
