Great place, beautiful views, great location
We very much enjoyed the house. We had a difficult time finding it and was not able to contact the owner. He is a teacher who was unavailable during the day. Knowing that ahead of time would have been better. There are no street signs or numbers on the house. Once we spoke to him he was very helpful with extra towels, advice on travel, anything we needed. Once we were in it the house was awesome. Beautiful water views, 5 minute drive to a beautiful beach, 10 minutes from Naxos port, 5 minutes from airport. Lots of good restaurants nearby. We totally enjoyed driving around the island and the location was perfect for that. There was a pomegranate tree on the property so we ate pomegranate every day for breakfast. The rooms were nice and three full bathrooms were great. A lot of stairs (all spiral) made it a bit difficult for the 80+ year olds, who stayed in the basement and used the outdoor steps. The first two nights in the upstairs bedroom had a lovely breeze, but the farm across the street gave us manure smell, crowing roosters, barking dogs, and braying donkeys all night. We turned on the air conditioning and slept great the rest of the week. I would highly recommend this place. Location, cleanliness, caring owner, and size of the house were perfect.
