“We wish we could have stayed longer! The staff were wonderful and the family room had everything we needed for 2 adults and 3 children. The Bistro food was great and they had a good vegetarian dinner selection and offered vegetarian sausages with breakfast. Definitely would stay again. ”

“This was the perfect, remote, peaceful getaway.The host was in communication right from the booking and went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was magical. Thoughtful little gifts for our children as it was Christmas and a pack to decorate for New Years. Just wonderful.The barn itself was clean, spacious and fitted with everything you could need. Located in a remote area on a bird reserve was perfect for star gazing and lots of walks. Go prepared with a shop and settle in! The nearest shop...

"I was quite disappointed with my stay. The breakfast was terrible — very limited options and not appetizing at all. The room wasn’t comfortable; I could hear the neighbors talking and even snoring through the walls. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and to make things worse, the noise from the birds outside kept me up most of the night. Overall, not a pleasant experience and I wouldn’t stay here again. The good thing about the hotel was the location, at the heart of Carlisle. "
