“Good location set slightly back from the busier areas of Bowness. An easy walk to the pier or a short walk to the bus stop up the hill for buses to Windermere and beyond. We particularly liked the 'green' drinks scheme where you could get a drink per room occupant instead of a daily room clean. “We had 2 very good nights sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. Funny was the mirror in the bathroom was fitted well high up, you can not see yourself if you are about 5 ft tall. The shower screen was a bit narrow for the long shower tray, the floor got very wet when having shower.”

“Strange entrance to our room as had to hold the fire door open and room door to get the cases in. Room was clean as was bathroom although bath panel very scruffy. Due to the style of sink turning the tap on causes a tidal wave and wets you through so have to use cautiously! Had to pay for parking as didn’t book directly with hotel.”

“There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and parking was a nightmare; other cars were in the spot that were suppose to be designated for the listing. We had to pay to park over night. Pill out bed is not very comfortable. The host had great communication when we had trouble with accessing the check in instructions. Overall, wish the dishes in the dishwasher had been dealt with correctly as we planned on eating breakfast there in the morning before leaving but had no clean cutlery!”

Not a problem but room & balcony could do with a little updating & bbc channels didn't work properly due to signal but we had a lovely stay.
