âWe stayed for an event at UEA and the location was perfect for this. Setting was beautiful in a small village with a river running through -great for an evening stroll. Our bedroom was very very close to the road which becomes a commuter cut through in the mornings. This did lead to some unwelcome traffic noise from around 530am. â
âReally friendly and helpful welcome, marking eating facilities on a campus map for me. Room wasn't large, but was very clean with a comfortable bed. Nothing to criticise for the price.â
âThis is the third occasion we have stayed at The Recruiting Sergeant and hopefully it won't be the last. We received a prompt and friendly check-in on arrival and were shown to our first-floor room which was a good size, as was the bathroom. Both were spotless and were kept that way for the duration of our 4 night stay. Overlooking the road caused us no concerns. Great choice of good quality food for breakfast and we had our evening meal there on 3 of the 4 nights. Superb choice of food and wine...
âHad an absolutely fabulous week at the Parson Woodforde. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and a credit to Mark and Maria :) The food was incredible, all local produce with lovely fresh seafood specials and all very well seasoned! The roast on Sunday was one of the best Iâve ever had and we were made to feel very welcome and given loads of useful local information, nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were immaculate. There is a lot within easy reach of the pub with the coast at...
âI have stayed here before so knew what to expect, it has different proprietors but was better to be honest than last time which wasnât bad anyway, it was just better this time!â
âSingle room for 1 night, a bit cosy but the price was unbeatable. Quiet, clean, comfy bed, good shower amenities, easy parking, polite staff, good wifi.
Only improvement I can suggest is to put a darker curtain as quite a bit of light goes through during summer.â
âA calm but rather big hotel 6 km out of Norwich. Very helpful staff but with an accent you just can't understand as a foreigner. But no problem with that. Everything is at place and no need to have long conversations. :-)
Nice full breakfast included and I had a beer and a goat cheese tartelette in the evening which tasted rather nice.â
âWonderful experience in this exceptional property. Grounds were amazing and on right on the Norfolk Broads. Breakfast was indeed an occasion and the food was first-class. The complimentary 2 hours per day in the Spa was a treat and the property is only a short walk to the two â
âWe stayed at this hotel for one night in August, the room was lovely and comfortable and they were able to accommodate our 2 children on Z-Beds in the same room- this was very much appreciated. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, lovely ladies serving the breakfast too.
The swimming pool is such a lovely addition, heated to a nice temperature. We will definitely be coming back! â
