“The Neeld is an excellent facility, well worth your consideration. It’s well located for anyone like ourselves, looking to break up a journey from the far SW to London and back again. The room we had was spacious; clean; warm and comfortable. The breakfast is reasonably priced and there is a good choice of evening meals which saves you having to find a restaurant. The staff are welcoming and helpful both to us and our pet dog. ”

“The area around Box Hill is beautiful. Some nice little nature areas within strolling distance. Good star-gazing. Staff at the pub were great, as were the locals. Excellent local ciders and ales. Food was great too, great ploughman's lunch. Amazing place to watch the sunset and see the lights of Bath in the distance. ”

“Fabulous converted barn in a peaceful location with great views. Spacious and light inside with all that you need for a weekend away. Three good sized rooms, great to have ensuites.Extra bonus the mezzanine floor (great for yoga and look at the views!) and piano which we used for a sing along! Local walks straight from the property and great pub just walking distance from the barn. Thanks for a great stay.”

Fantastic breakfast, nice cosy smaller rooms for coffe or drinks as well as very good dinner, made us want to stay at the Archangel rather than going out in the evenings ”
