About this space
Iguanas on the dock. Herons on the canal. A kayak or paddle-board the whole family can handle. Then back to the heated pool, the new putting green, the fire table, and air hockey. Caloosa Park — pickleball, tennis, fishing pond — is a short walk. Sleeps 8-10, pet-friendly, fully stocked for families. 10 minutes to Atlantic Ave and the beach.
The space
Most guests say the same thing: the backyard was better than expected. The canal wildlife, the morning dock coffee, the way the fire table looks at night. It's the kind of outdoor space that makes the original vacation plan irrelevant.
The Outdoor Experience
The backyard sits on a private canal and comes alive in a way that surprises almost every group. Iguanas sunbathe on the dock. Blue herons stand in the shallows. Guests drink their morning coffee out there watching the water before anyone else is awake. It's something multiple guests have mentioned unprompted and it doesn't cost a thing to experience.
The heated pool is the anchor — clean, warm year-round, stocked with floats and pool toys. The brand new putting green is the newest addition to the backyard, joining the air hockey table and a full outdoor games setup. A fire table and gas grill round out the evening setup. Kayaks, paddleboards, and fishing gear are included. Guests have paddled the canal, fished from the dock, and discovered the pond 500 feet down the street stocked with largemouth bass and catfish.
A fully stocked bar cart with martini and wine glasses is ready when you arrive.
Pets are welcome. The yard is fully fenced.
One thing worth knowing: the canal view is open, and a bus depot sits on the opposite bank. The canal itself is wide and the setting is private — the wildlife, the dock, and the water view are all still very much the draw. Worth knowing before arrival so it matches your expectations.
Inside the Home
The interior is warm, well-decorated, and larger than the exterior suggests. The open kitchen and living areas connect naturally and the house is stocked for a real stay — quality cookware, full spice rack, air fryer, coffee setup, and everything a group needs for full meals.
Families traveling with infants: a pack-n-play and high chair are available. Pool toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, and quality beach towels are included.
Every bedroom has its own Smart TV with Roku and streaming. Two bedrooms have electric fireplaces. Two bedrooms have private ensuite bathrooms — a ratio that works well for groups of 6–8 where morning routines matter.

The Details Guests Mention
The dock is where mornings happen — coffee, birds, iguanas, canal views. The kayak is a two-seater that guests of all ages can navigate. The fire table becomes the gathering spot after dinner. The new putting green gets competitive fast. The air hockey table is a crowd favorite.
Caloosa Park is a short walk from the house — pickleball courts, tennis courts, walking trails, and a lake. Multiple guests have called it out as a bonus they didn't expect. A fishing pond stocked with largemouth bass and catfish is 500 feet down the street.
The house is professionally cleaned before every stay — guests consistently note it smells clean the moment they walk in and the cleanliness level exceeds most Airbnbs they've experienced.
