Rena och mysiga, renoverade 2-sovrumsstuga på avskild Miller Lake 5 miles NW av Garrison MN, sover 4-5 bekvämt. Stugan har 2 sovrum med dubbelsängar. Pack & Play finns tillgängligt på begäran. Öppen planlösning har vardagsrum (full bäddsoffa) och kök med disk / glas, grytor och kastruller, redskap, brödrost, mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare etc. Gas och kol grill tillhandahålls. 1 badrum med dusch - ingen badkar. En vedspis är den enda värmekällan i kabinen, ved tillhandahålls.

NY - TV med lokala kanaler och DVD-spelare. Fastigheten behandlas under sommaren två gånger i veckan för mygg av Mosquito Squad of Baxter MN.

Kabinen har INTE kabel, Wi-Fi, tvätt eller luftkonditionering.

** Ta med egna bad- och badhanddukar, pappersprodukter etc.

Aktiviteter: 2 kajaker tillhandahållna, paddla runt sjön i vår nya ponton paddelbåt, bad, fiske, vandring och naturligtvis avkoppling! Utomhus eldgropar - massor av trä för rostning marshmallows. Gated lansering tillgänglig för din egen båt.

Närliggande attraktioner: Garrison - restauranger, livsmedelsbutik, spritaffär, betesaffär (3 miles) Brainerd-cykelleder, arboret, teatrar, Brainerd International Raceway (20 miles), Paul Bunyan Land (25 miles) åk / petting zoo, Lansera fiske på Mille Lacs Lake, Grand Casino (25 miles), 4 golfbanor i närheten, Rogers Berry Farm (1 mil) har u-pick blåbär i säsongen, Black Bear Pottery (2 miles) handgjord keramikbutik.

Vi föredrar att hyra i 7 nätter under sommaren men överväger 3 nätter om hytten fortfarande är öppen 2 veckor före hyresdatum.

Not for old people or people with any disabilities.

To close to the host! Hard to get your belongings in the cabin, as was too many steps. Sign says Please do not drive or park on the grass. The host was always out in the yard doing yard work or using leaf blower and cutting wood. We are in our 80’s.The place was given a 10 and said exceptional. Needs more info. on information. He did help us unpack, but not when we left, supplied us with wood for the stove. Kayaks were out two days and then he put them away.

Perfect place to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary.

Very peaceful area & adorable cabin. We enjoyed coffee on the dock, paddle boating, kayaking, fishing, listening to the Loons & watching the Eagles. We found the Eagle's nest. At the end of our adventurous days we relaxed around the fire.

Great stay!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was perfect. My husband used the paddle pontoon every morning to fish. Rick helped us make a fire one night that was great. We sat on the rockers at the end of the dock each day just enjoying the lake. It was truly a cozy and comfortable cabin. It was easy to find and close to things to do. Rick and Cindy are very nice and have a lovely place. Thank you for a great stay.

Peaceful fishing spot

This place was beautiful. So much shade! Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views of the lake or fish from the dock. Paddle pontoon was so fun. Loons and eagles were cool to watch. Bass fishing was great. Caught several pike and lots of sun fish. Hosts were super nice! Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet fishing spot or a peaceful place to relax and read a book. Word of advice though: bring mosquito repellant! If you make sure & wear it you'll be fine but if you forget it they can be bad.

Peace and quiet

We enjoyed our Mom/Sister extended weekend getaway. We caught lots of fish paddling around the lake on the peddle pontoon. This was also a great location close to our favorite shops in Nisswa and Brainerd. Rick and Cindy are great hosts and have a beautifully maintained property.

A Time-Out in Lake Country, Minnesota!

3 hrs away from the hustle and bustle of the cities and their bedroom communities, we enjoyed a tranquil week at this jewel of a lake cottage! This served as our base of operations for forays to Brainerd, Baxter, Crow Wing State Park, Crosby, Garrison/Lake Mille Lacs and to Lake Itasca for a view of the headwaters of the Mississippi River. We rode bicycles on the Paul Bunyan State Trail! We sat in the rocking chairs our hosts, Rick & Cindy had so thoughtfully put on the dock! We soaked up the sun, fished/caught fish, saw otters swim by the dock, watched a hawk/osprey catch a fish from the lake, and listened to acorns fall from the oak trees and used the host's paddle pontoon for a short float on the lake. The cottage was charming, tidy and comfortable. There was a well-outfitted kitchen, a great hot shower, picture windows for picturesque views of the lake and a wood stove with wood to heat the cottage! We like woodstoves and campfire! It reminded us of some camps and cottages we've stayed at in the U.P. of Michigan, the Snowies of Wyoming, and Missouri's Ozarks! Places where you could get back in touch with Nature and back in touch with family and self! Thanks again to our hosts for sharing this oasis with us! We would like to return and bring our grandson with us next time!

Great Place

Amazing and Quiet

The photos do not do this property justice. This property is exceptionally well-kept and stocked with everything you need. The cabin sits on an incredibly clean private lake with some great fishing. The owner is super friendly. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing lake-side cabin 10 minutes from a grocery store and a bait shop, this is it. Great family room, two nice bedrooms with closets and dressers, kitchen stocked with everything you need, and a new, clean bathroom. I can't believe we were so lucky to be able to enjoy this property for a week. Incredible.

A little piece of paradise

Fun family vacation. Cabin fit our family of 5 perfectly. Fishing was good, our girls loved fishing off the dock and swimming. Our son enjoyed taking the kayak out to fish the rest of the lake. Water was nice, warm and clean. Great shallow swimming off the dock for our kids. Thank you Taplins' for a great stay!

Great lil place

Nice, clean place, right on the lake! The cabin has everything you need! Clean lake with clear water and great fishing! The pontoon paddle boat was fun to take out on the lake too. Had a nice quiet vacation with my hubby! Only thing was, the dog across the lake, barking for 2hrs, everyday. It's so quiet on the water, so the barking just echos throughout the area. That's not the owners fault, and the rest of the time was very peaceful. Definitely recommend!

very QUIET lake after Labor Day!! loved being to fish off the paddle boat provided. Location is excellent to go to many different lakes to fish and explore the many unique surrounding towns. Definitely going back next year

Anniversary getaway

Was a great stay!

We had lots of fun! It was a little disconcerting to realize the owners residence was right next to the cabin, but they weren't there for the majority of our stay so we still enjoyed our privacy. The lake was beautiful, and the fishing was a blast! There are the most adorable Chipmunks in the immediate area too, we really enjoyed coming out in the morning and watching them forage all over.
