Grandma's House in Branford! - A Charming Vintage Stay Near Springs & Bike Trail

This classic Florida home has been in our family for over 100 years! From the built-in bookcases to the light-filled rooms to the carport made to fit only a Ford Model T, this home is full of vintage personality! And you can't beat the location. Surrounded by the natural beauty of northern Florida you can stay as busy or as relaxed as you’d like.
The master bedroom features a queen-sized bed and a private bathroom with a shower. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom with a tub/shower - a full sized bed in the front bedroom and two twins in the middle room (a door adjoins the middle room to the master).
It has a formal dining room and a breakfast nook. The living room features beautiful full-length windows and, for our musical guests, a piano (hasn't been tuned in years!). The kitchen is very retro with a circa 1950s Maytag gas range/oven and hand-built cabinets. And what Florida home is complete without a big front porch so you can sit back, relax, and watch the Spanish moss sway in the breeze?
Although the home's appearance will make you feel like you've stepped into the 1950s, it has enough amenities to keep you grounded in the present. The central air and heat will keep you comfortable year round. There's a full sized washer and dryer for your laundry needs. Along with the super-cool range/oven, the kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator and a coffee maker. A TV in the living room and wifi throughout will ensure you have access to your streaming shows.
Did we mention there’s a lot to do around here? Probably the most popular activity is to tube or paddle the break-taking Ichetucknee River. It is only 10 miles away. But that’s just the beginning!

Branford itself is very walkable. Walk to the Branford Gathering for drinks on their covered porch. Or to Our Place Pizzeria & Ristorante for excellent pizza (we dream of their Caprese pizza all year long!). And Sister's, less than a mile away, is famous for their all-you-can-eat Friday seafood buffet. Stock up on groceries at the full-service grocery store which is less than a mile away.

We have many planned renovations (starting with updating the kitchen) that we're not quite able to do at this point. We've reflected that in the pricing. Our delay is your gain!
