“10/10 all around experience”

“Rarely does one feel they have been welcomed as if they had "come home" to a hotel or Bed & Breakfast. I have stayed in a few grander historic hotels, but never felt so at home as when my son and I stayed a few mights at The Montague Inn. It is a lovely, beautifully maintained mansion from the 1930s, almost immaculately clean, with charming and comfortable guest rooms, sitting areas, patios and gardens. The twin sofa bed is not working so well because the spring inside the bed is become loose and seems like it’s coming apart. The suites room was spacious enough though. At night, the shower did not have cold water so I called the front desk. They were able to offer me a new room. We just asked for a room for shower. It’s good that they were quick to respond....

“Very small rooms in this old-fashioned roadside motel. Some cosmetic upgrades have taken place but there's only so much you can do for an old cinder block building. The biggest problem was heat. It's radiant heat with no way to control it. They have a fake thermostat for a central air furnace on the wall, but it does nothing. “I am not a complainer, by any means, but I cannot NOT post about our experience at this motel. We booked this motel at the last minute for a one-night stay in Saginaw this past weekend, based on price point and reading all the reviews online. The reviews were completely inaccurate.
