Absolutely wonderful home
This home is amazing. We had 18 people here (10 children and 8 adults), and you would never have known it. We went for NYE and a friend's 40th bday celebration. Everything was perfect. The house almost looked too good to be true from the pictures, I thought it may have been fake ha! It most definitely was not. A favorite: sitting in the living room by the fire looking out the windows (each one looking like a painting) was so relaxing. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely Outdoor Area
The home is well located outside of Breckenridge and near Frisco and Dillon. The outdoor area was super with a fire pit where we set up corn hole that was provided. Plenty of bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The house is a bit dated and needs some upgrades ( like carpeting and some appliances) but our family certainly enjoyed themselves!

A Little Bit of Heaven
This house provided the perfect place for our family if 17 to get away from the heat in Kansas and spend a week together. Plenty around to be as active as you want or beautiful enough by the Blue River right out the back door to just chill out by fire pit and let time slow down!!!!! We had a little problem with water pressure last day or so but I’m sure had I contacted Mindy it would have been resolved. We love having corn hole tournaments and when I inquired if house had a set, Mindy said no but she would get one out there for us. If you rent this place, take in all the things to do around the area (and there is a lot to do) but leave equal time to just enjoy and relax.

Gorgeous scenery
We had 14 total; 7 adults and kids ranging ages 6-14. Very spacious and kids loved the game room. Some went fly/fishing on property and ample space to sit outside. Excellent location.

Perfect Location
Perfect location right on the river. Enormous home with plenty of bed rooms and bathrooms. We had 17 in our party and still had more bedrooms than we could use. Mindy the owner was very responsive to text. We would love to come back next summer.

Amazing, picturesque setting!
We had a family reunion at Whispering Pines and found the property to be breathtaking! The views and location cannot be beat! We greatly enjoyed all the bedrooms with private bathrooms and deck access as it felt kind of like a hotel. The main floor layout was accommodating for large groups and the huge windows gave everyone something to be in awe of over morning coffee. We saw wildlife and enjoyed fly fishing. The river was loud and mesmerizing and the beds were very comfortable. We got great sleep! We did have some heating and plumbing issues on our stay and Mindy was very prompt about getting maintenance to the property several times. Unfortunately, not all the problems got fixed as this is an older home that is in need of repairs. In the end we made satisfactory compromises and would definitely come stay again with the up front knowledge that this home needs some repairs. Absolutely stunning and serene environment!

Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay at the ranch! Our extended family came for the week to celebrate my husbands 50th and it was perfect for our large group of adults and older kids (ages 11-17). We loved the game room, hot tub, fire pit and huge fireplace! My husband loved fishing the river most days right out the back door and the close proximity to several ski mountains was great as well. Highly recommend!

Memories Made
This was the perfect place for us! The location can't be beat! Close to Dillon and Frisco, super close to Breck! The house is great for a large family, 15 for us, several common areas, but enough bedrooms, everyone could have their own space! And when the babies went to bed, the common areas, kitchen/DR/LR are far enough away that the laughter and fun doesn't wake them up. We loved the fire pit, spent every night enjoying one another with a drink in one hand and a smore in another. Two washers and 2 dryers, upstairs no less! We loved the stream, cold, but shallow enough to wade in. Overall, great home where we made a lot of memories!

Perfect for multifamily gathering
Perfect location for getting together with parents, siblings and their families from Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Texas. Many activities for people with a large home for gathering and spending time together for meals and down time. Beds were comfortable. House was nearly soundproof with sleeping area upstairs from the living area and kitchen where we gathered for games and stories. The fire pit was nice next to the river at night for Smores. The hot tub was relaxing. Mindy was a very responsive host. Out of her way to make sure we had everything and even went out to get an appliance we felt we needed for food prep. The flowers were beautiful and the property is inviting. Close enough to the stores and touristy things yet felt like you were miles away from everything sitting outside next to the river with everyone. My nephew enjoyed learning to fly fish on the river access outside the back door. We had 21 stay comfortably. Each bedroom had private bathing/shower which was nice. Highly recommend this property!

Frintz family reunion
The home, location and amenities exceptional. It accommodated all 24 of us with room to spare. The new property manager was a delight to work with as she addressed all our concerns and issues immediately. Although the property had some issues of maintenance they two were being addressed as needed. In summary, the property is fabulous and is in a quiet and secluded location that any large group will have a great and memorable stay!

Absolutely Perfect
This was my first time renting with Vrbo and I was a bit nervous to do it with such a large property. The home is amazing and was perfect for our group of friends for a 4 day getaway. The home matches the listing exactly, and even surprised us by how much bigger and better it looks in person than in the photos. We were also amazed by how close the river is to the home, and how much we used the outdoor fireplace. Melanie was also an amazing host and always responded to messages promptly. Highly recommend and will be back!

This lodge is an absolute dream!
We couldn't recommend this lodge more! We honestly had to pinch ourselves because the property is so beautiful and dreamy. We had our wedding in the backyard of the lodge on 9.26.20 and it couldn't have been more perfect. Melanie, the Property Manager, was very responsive and made all the arrangements so easy for us. The inside of the lodge is decorated for the mountains, and it's incredibly cozy. The rooms were charming, and the bathrooms were luxurious. There were tons of great amenities. We truly couldn't recommend this lodge more, and we will cherish our memories there.

Amazing family vacation

Epic Mountain Escape with River Sounds
Gorgeous home with plenty of space for our big family. The location right on the banks of the river was unbelievable. The sounds of the rushing water could be heard all throughout the property. The home was in excellent condition. The beds were very comfortable and the high end linens were a nice touch. The views of the mountains all around were spectacular and the location in between downtown Breckenridge and Frisco was convenient.

Amazing Colorado Mountain Getaway
This property is outstanding. We rented it for my wife's birthday and had some family with us. The property is great. The house was well stocked from linens to kitchen needs. We had a smaller group, but the house could easily accommodate very large events. Each room has its own bathroom which made it feel like everyone had their own personal space. The game room is great. We caught a good number of fish right from the rocking chairs on the back porch! A great place. Will definitely go again!

Beautiful Breckenridge Chateau
From booking to check out, the rental experience was seamless. The pictures were very much representative of the property but the actual views take your breath away. Melanie, the property manager was very easy to work with, very helpful with suggestions as this was our first trip to Breck. She was accessible and responsive for anything that came up. The house was perfect was my husband and 20 of our friends. The couples appreciated having their own bathroom. Each bedroom door opens to the outside allowing you to listen to the sounds of the lake. Plenty of fridge space for groceries and meal prep. The hot tub was freshly cleaned and prepped for our arrival. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for our catered breakfast and wine tasting. We thoroughly enjoyed our celebration and would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely amazing property
Perfect home for large groups. Property was even more beautiful and spacious than we expected. Our entire party agreed the pictures do not do this property justice. We were pleasantly surprised there's a huge dining table that can sit 12 or more not shown in pics that's connected to the kitchen and main living area. I could go on and on about how fabulous our experience was but I'll just sum it up with......HIGHLY RECOMMEND, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Awesome Lodge
The lodge looked just like the pictures and was amazing. The location is secluded and beautiful but at the same time only minutes from Frisco and Breckinridge. The fishing on the river running through the property was great and everyone enjoyed the lodge.

The pictures don't do the property justice. The backyard and balconies have an incredible view of the river, backyard landscape and sitting area by the firepit.

The R&R Trip gone wrong...
ok, to summarize, completely disappointed.... 15 acres of privacy...not so much... Workers were on the property after, starring at us, I called the property managers whom reassured me that the workers would NOT be back, then they did come back...at 740 on Sunday AM in Diesel trucks making a TON of noise. Then the workers dog tried to attack us, the worker wanted to get hostile..So I called the managers again, both were very busy, said they’d “take care” of it once again... Then, the second to last day as we are trying to relax, 4 ignorant people show up to “look” at the house because they’ve rented it the next weekend...WOW!!! Worst house to rent in VRBO, it’s realky a shame, the place has so much potential. It’s really to bad, most people don’t take their work seriously... If they did I wouldn’t be writing such a terrible review.... We should have been refunded the whole trip, and since everyday way interrupted and it we had to deal with someone on the property that shouldn’t have been...Well, I guess good customer service is overrated and or none existent when renting this place... Sunday, tried to grill, the grill caught fire as I lit it, tried two fire extinguishers, both were defective, have to get sand to stop the fire. Easy to say they neglect cleaning the important stuff...what else was not cleaned properly?!? Makes you wonder. Good luck..

Shawn, We apologize that you didn't have a great experience. However, we want to make sure we clarify a few things. As you booked last-minute (with less than 24hrs notice) we had already scheduled workers to come work on the property before Winter. We called them off as soon as we got your booking. One worker who didn't get the message in time came to exchange cars through our designated maintenance entrance. He was nowhere near the house and was off the property within 5 minutes. Upon booking, you were notified that construction maintenance had already been scheduled for the days you were wanting to stay. We told you we would cancel the scheduled property maintenance for you but there was still a chance someone could show up to work on the property. However, we are very sorry this happened during your stay. As you can see in all of our photos, we don't have any sand on our property so I am not sure how you put out the mentioned fire. After your stay, we found zero signs of any fire in the house or by the grill. We reinspected the property and found no evidence to support your additional claims. There are 3 large working commercial grade fire extinguishers in the home. To clarify, our fire extinguishers have been tested. They work perfectly and our whole property is up to code. We are sorry that this occurred during your stay, To be honest, we were very uncomfortable with you as a guest. We tried to accommodate you as best we could and we were very disappointed with the way you spoke to and threatened our staff members. We are sad you gave us this review, as we have been renting this property to guests for many years with nearly 100% 5 star reviews. We pride ourselves on offering a great product paired with amazing customer service.

Perfect getaway house
I booked this property for a reunion of high school friends. We were not disappointed. Set just off of the main road (which you would never know was there) the house is on a magnificent property with a steady flowing stream in the backyard. Plenty of room throughout the house - tons of sitting areas with comfortable furniture and a game room that included foosball, pool, ping pong and a very large screen. Any questions we had were quickly answered by Melanie via email. The big electronics system upstairs was broken and Melanie has someone out there within 2 hours to fix it all. The rooms were all really comfortable (although get a bit hot at night - even with the fans). The house is close to main town as well as many hikes close by. Plenty of room in the two refrigerators for food and drink and a very large garage. The one thing this place needs are directions to some of the amenities- like the media center, the fireplace and outdoor fire pit. One other note would be to have access to the pole that opens the high windows. Other than those very small issues - this place is fantastic and I can highly recommend staying at this house. Hope I get back there one day.

Beautiful Property
We couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful property. Once you step foot out the back door it becomes difficult to believe that you’re only 5 mins from downtown Breckenridge. The confluence of the two rivers located 20 yards off the back patio made it very hard to do anything else besides sitting in the wooden rockers by the fire pit and letting the sound of the river heal all your wounds. I’m serious... we loved this place very much and can not wait to find a reason to rent again.

Idyllic home
We hosted our family reunion at this place, and it was wonderful. Each room has its own full bath. The large kitchen and meeting space were phenomenal. The back patio alongside the Blue River were better than expected. And the property manager was as good as they come! Can’t recommend this home enough. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a group of 9 couples in their 50s and the house was perfect for us. Conveniently located and the setting on the banks of the river was spectacular with beautiful grounds and room to spread out. The photographs do not come close to doing it justice and two minor issues were handled immediately. We will definitely stay here again.

The perfect place
The perfect place- When we arrived our entire family was in awe of the beauty of the landscape, the home, and the view. This was the perfect place for our family reunion. Everyone had their own bed and bathroom. We were all able to sit together for meals between two large tables in a spacious open concept area that made us feel connected. We gathered in the main room for coffee, puzzles, coloring, watching slideshows of old family photos and new family photos. The kitchen had everything we needed including plenty of fridge and freezer space and all of the cooking utensils/supplies we needed. The rooms were fantastic, comfortable, and perfect for both adults and kiddos. The game room was a favorite hangout for kids as well as the patio and fire pit in the evenings. The porch was shaded in the afternoon and a group sat out there for several hours playing games and talking. We used the grill a couple nights too which made for easy and tasty meals. Each evening a group hung out in the hot tub. A few times people strolled down to the bank of the river to sit and rock in the swing out away from the house. We took our family photo just out front with the incredible Gore mountain range in the back ground. The host was quick to communicate and answer all of our questions and concerns before, during, and after our stay. The home was clean, comfortable, updated, and tastefully decorated. The landscaping was gorgeous, and very well kept. The river running through the property was high when we were there and we did have to keep a close eye on our little ones when we were outside. So if you are looking for a place to just let kids run free without any supervision this is not your property. With that said the kids loved being outside and playing in the lawn and on the patio. We had no complaints only lots of compliments from everyone. I would highly recommend staying here for your next large group gathering.

Rustic log home on the river.
It’s a very nice property but very close to the road. We enjoyed having such a comfortable house for our reunion and especially enjoyed the close proximity of the river. In my opinion this house is better suited for adults only.

Great place
This was a great property for our large family group, and it allowed for most couples/groups to have a bedroom and bathroom of their own while we could come together as a larger family group in the common spaces of the house. The back deck area is beautiful with the running river but if you have small children, you need to watch the closely. We did not take advantage of the hot tub, but it looked clean and well maintained. The large grill helped with the cooking and we used every inch of the kitchen during our stay. The large dining tables fit all our guests for meals we all shared together. The house is somewhat rustic but also updated so it met our needs. The few emergent issues we had were addressed immediately and Aaron was very helpful onsite. We had a great stay and recommend this property to other large groups or families.

Beautiful house and location. Couldn’t have asked for much more - has a professional quality kitchen, each bedroom has its own bathroom and stunning views, and there’s a great congregating room. Great outdoor seating areas with the river running through and mountain views. Easy access to Breck, Frisco, TONS of trails for hiking and mountain biking. Also a game room with some great games and a large projector screen. Only suggestion would be to add more hooks to hang coats and things in the master bedroom. We all loved it!

Plenty of room for everyone, and spectacular back yard
Everything was great here. Had just about everything we needed. More then enough space with bathrooms attached to every room. Only complaint is the outdoor furniture was in poor condition. One family member actually had a chair break beneath him when sitting down. Otherwise everything was fantastic and I would absolutely stay again.

Great experience!
I brought 13 other professionals from my team to spend three days and four nights at the lodge. Wonderful weather. Wonderful accommodations. We were able to cook together, eat together, and relax. Fishing was excellent. The kitchen table was a great "conference room." There were no complaints with the rooms. However, the bunk room was cozy for four adults. We would absolutely consider returning to this location.
