It is easy to get an uber to explore some of the stunning restaurants and vineyards close by. If you want to stay at the hotel all day, they offer great food as well upon requsest”
“We stayed here 30 years ago and it was great to be back in beautiful Paarl. New owners are very friendly and so helpful... their little doggie snowy so sweet.
Its a listed building and having breakfast in the old part of the house is so cool. That is a true South African breakfast. Delicious. Never tasted a eggs bennie that good.”

“I am a repeat visitor to Pontac. A lovely place to spend time at, especially outside on the stoep. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, wonderful views of the mountains surrounding Paarl. Definite value for money. The only area for improvement would be breakfast, it is okay, but could use some attention.”
“We are experienced travelers and this was one of, if not the best hotel experience we have had. What set the stay apart was the hospitality and friendly atmosphere. We got advice on wineries, help with restaurant bookings and bookings/discounts on other activities. The location was perfect with very good restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance and several wineries we know of within a 10 km radius. We will recommend the hotel to all our friends.”
“Lovely high spec cottage. Clean and new interiors. A romantic stay for couples but we had a three year old! Peaceful and quiet location. A short drive to shops and not too far to some good vineyards. Breakfast was quite nice but would be good to have a helpful option. My daughter loved the trampoline and small playground. Felt like a safe location. I’d recommend taking the hotel up on their offer of starting the hot tub for arrival as I couldn’t manage it!”

"Hotellet har bara varit öppet sedan december. Personalen var hjälpsamma o trevliga men flera lite oerfarna. Hotellet var jättefint och fräscht. Kan rekommendera varmt.

"We had problems at check in as they couldn’t find our confirmed booking. 10 minutes later it was sorted so we got a room. Nice hotel with a nice pool area close to restaurants. The breakfast was not as good as it have been on previous stays."
