âExtended weekend trip to Chicago. Thompson Chicago has a great location in a neighborhood packed with restaurants and shops. But the rooms in the hotel are showing signs of some wear and tear. The restaurant and bar are currently closed for renovation. â
âRoom was spacious. Housekeeping services are available but you never see carts/housekeepers. If you choose not to have housekeeping, itâs very easy to get what you need and service is prompt. There was always one or more employees at the front desk and someone out front to help with questions, directions, etc.
Location was great! We were able to walk - safely - to so many places.
Although coffee was available daily in the âliving roomâ, a coffee maker in the room would be nice.

âThis is an exceptional hotel. The rooms are clean. The service is impeccable, and the products!! The signature scent is to die for. It is now a part of my life. I had to buy a candle on the way out and have already visited the online store for body wash and lotion. Well done. There are a lot of choices in Chicago, but this is now my go to. âQuite close to Red Line stop Chicago 5 min walk. Close to plenty diffrent restaurants with walking distance. Only negative was their breakfast service no buffet as you often got on hotels and $27 for some scrabbled eggs, two sausages and fried potatoes. Well itâs even more worth to go to closest Starbucks for a better start for your morning â
