However, the significant drawback was its remote location. Situated far from the city center, getting around proved to be a major inconvenience. The hotel's transportation service was the only viable option, as taxis were virtually non-existent in the area. This service was not only excessively expensive—charging nearly double what a regular taxi would cost—but also incredibly slow, with wait times frequently stretching up to an hour. Additionally, the hotel's surroundings were desolate, lacking any local shops, kiosks, or restaurants. To truly experience the vibrant culture and flavors of Morocco, a trip to Tangier city was essential. While the hotel offered a luxurious escape, its isolation made it difficult to immerse oneself in the local environment, which significantly detracted from the overall experience."
