“I liked the location best. It is easy to access and centrally located in town; very walkable. The staff is very attentive and willing to help. Breakfast and other food options are excellent. Parking is not on-site and closest is a paid lot one hundred meters from the inn. Our room was directly above the street and entrance to the inn, so it was a bit noisy. Overall, I recommend Temperance Inn.”

“The hotel is in a very central location in the middle of Ambleside however there is no on site parking available. My room was clean and comfortable. I found it difficult to sleep though as the room was really warm and there was a lot of traffic noise early in the morning. Breakfast was very tasty with a good choice and the staff were friendly.”
