Abigail's Nest är det perfekta hemmet för dina semestersammankomster. Det är en fantastisk skräddarsydda hem alla utrustade för semestern. Spektakulär bondgård känner med en modern öppen design.
Scen från varje rum i den varma, mysiga eldstaden med 8 fots hägeri är hjärtat av hemmet. Centrerad i mitten ligger ett stort öppet kök. Ett rymligt samlingsrum, matsal med trippel skjutdörrar och 8 fot gård bord, sittgrupp med två soffor och ett ek bord. Anslut till köket med lätthet. Sitt runt den vackra ön som är den enda bit som delar köket och samlingsrummet. Master svit ligger på första våningen med king size-säng, fyra stora fönster, sittgrupp och bord. Badrum med dusch. Andra våningen är ansluten till en catwalk och loft. Ytterligare master svit med king size-säng, fyra stora fönster sittgrupp och bord. Full bad med dusch. Det finns ytterligare två sovrum. Ett rum med en queen size-säng och ett rum med två enkelsängar. Var och en av dessa rum delar ett badrum med badkar. Gott om utrymme för luftmadrasser för ytterligare gäster. 40 fot framför bondgård veranda med bord och stolar.

We visited in December, so the pool was closed, but looked inviting even in the snow. The home was so warm and cozy and spacious. We loved our stay.

Beautiful house at a great location, quite close to Sturbridge center. Host was gracious, allowed us to use the house as a staging site for the Bridal Party in our wedding, and put us in touch with items mistakenly left behind.

Organized a weekend getaway with friends here. Absolutely beautiful space—landscaping, decor, and interior were all pristine. We had 16 people in total and had no issues with space; everyone was comfortable. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a central New England meeting spot.

Perfect Getaway

This was a beautiful property, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was spacious yet cozy, lots of open areas and toys for the kids. The weather was chilly, so the pellet stove warmed things up throughout the whole place, and we enjoyed the fireside out on the front porch. Top notch landscaping, and breathtaking sunrises. Highly recommend and look forward to coming again!

We stayed here for a wedding shower that was held at Worthington Winery. Everything was just perfect!! Such abeautiful home and grounds. The 2 children loved the pool. And the adults as well!!! Morning coffee on the front porch overlooking the valley. Does not get any better than that.

Lowkey Bachelorette Weekend

We stayed at Abigail’s nest a couple weekends ago for a lowkey bachelorette weekend by the pool and Kim and her house were more amazing that we could’ve imagined. The house was absolutely gorgeous and clean and the yard and pool were as well. We relaxed by the pool and had an absolute blast celebrating our bride! We are so grateful to have found this gem! Kim was great and communicative the entire time and we are all grateful for a fantastic weekend. Thanks again Kim!

Wow! We came to Brimfield for the antique fair and this home away from home was just the rest and relaxation we needed. The property is meticulously cared for and the home is just that, a home. If there was one thing that may have been missing I would only say a TV in the master bedroom. We would absolutely stay again. Kimberly is an amazing hostess.

An ideal location for a family gathering

This property was the perfect 'nest' for three generations of our family to assemble. We were charmed by the home, the amenities and the atmosphere that allowed our family to be together. Memories for all generations will last forever! The outdoor areas to gather such as the sunrise on the front porch for yoga and early coffee talks, as well as the great fun in the pool area were perfect. The inside areas with the cozy couch and large table were enough to host meals for our group of 11 and many evening games.

Gem of a property!

My friends and I found this listing and were not disappointed! The exterior landscaping, pool area, front porch with beautiful vistas and the designed interiors were magnificent! We were older women, but the space is ample and can accommodate families and children - in fact there are lots of games and activities in and outside the property for all ages. Aside from the amenities, the owner has thought through everything to make your stay enjoyable. There is a pantry with coffee/tea and amenities; each bathroom has shampoo/conditioner and body wash (very nice), towels are also provided as are all the bedding. The village of Sturbridge is 10 minutes away with lots of shops and places to eat. Just an hour away from Boston as well. I highly recommend this space.

Army Navy Game at Gillette Stadium

Picked this location because it was on the route from West Point to Gillette stadium. It was an hour closer for our son (and friends) to get here than if we had stayed in Boston and it put him that closer for drive home on Sunday. The house was great and well decorated for Christmas. My wife’s comment was that she felt like we were in a Hallmark movie. The host was very responsive (not that we needed anything). And Army beat Navy! Great weekend.

Amazing Stay at Abigail's Nest!

Super clean house. Incredibly friendly hostess. Beautiful pool. Beyond perfect landscaping. Everything we needed. The house is so open and welcoming, there are so many places to sit together and enjoy each other's company or take some quiet time alone. We really appreciated the helpful hints around the house and felt so taken care of by our lovely hostess. Definitely want to stay here again! Other things we loved: there's a bike trail just a mile down the (very quiet/safe) road, so we biked there every day. We enjoyed hearing the cows and chickens from a nearby farm. We really appreciated the s'mores supplies and bonfire options. It was truly the most relaxed family vacation we've had! Thank you!

Even Better Than the Pictures

The beautiful pictures still don’t tell the full story how amazing the house and property is. Kimberly keeps the house in immaculate condition and had everything teed up for us to have an enjoyable, turn-key stay for folks traveling in from out of town. You literally just needed to show up and everything was taken care of, from linens to ice to the grill, pool accommodations, you name it. My friends and I loved the outdoor seating options and were able to cook breakfast and dinner for all guests with no issues. I had several questions leading up to our stay and Kimberly responded to every note within 5 minutes and was extremely cordial and excited to have us stay with her, including touching base while we were on-site. I can’t say enough about the cleanliness and character of this amazing property and would recommend it highly for anyone looking to get away for a quiet retreat in a beautiful, charming setting.

Stunning home, beautifully decorated, with family-friendly lay-out.

My family of 9 stayed in this wonderfully homey vacation rental over the long Thanksgiving weekend. The bedrooms were cozy with designer country bedding; two with en-suite bathrooms, 2 bedrooms shared a large bathroom, all had very pleasant views. Another convenient half-bath is located downstairs near the action. The open downstairs lay-out allowed one group to watch TV, one to play cards and another to enjoy a long conversation over glasses of wine -- all within viewing distance of each other but separated enough to carry on with our differing past times. Perfect room placement. We cooked dinner in the large well-appointed kitchen, and took holiday card photos on the scenic porch. My adult nephew remarked, "Wow, it's like living in a Williams Sonoma catalogue!" Truly a lovely house for a splendid get-away.

Beautiful World Class Country Home

We loved this home, Abigail's Nest, last September (See Review by Frances L. Sept 21,2022). Revisiting Abigail's Nest this year, we found it the same: a delightful country house with wonderful gardens, spacious rooms, and every comfort we would want. Super clean, super organized, carefully decorated, and fully stocked with linens, cookware, dishes, supplies. A true Country Home? Yep! World Class? Yep! A caring VRBO host? Yep! Would I back Kimberly in a match-up against Martha Stewart? Yep . So go and enjoy!!!!!

Impressive in Every Way; Have Already Booked for 2023

This property is impressive in every way. So much so that we have already booked it for a stay in 2023. A wonderful modern farmhouse surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, ringed with trees and overlooking pastures, it evoked the feel of a large farm. Inside, we found spacious rooms, with charming, very comfortable furnishings, lots of windows, and every appliance and houseware item we needed. The right glass or dish, an abundance of cookware, stacks of towels, were at hand. And the essentials: clean everything, comfortable beds and bedding, plentiful hot water, easily accessible parking for our three cars, and working Wi-Fi. Kimberly is a warm and gracious host, who responded immediately to a couple of text questions about logistics. You’ll love her. You’ll love Abigail’s Nest.

Slumber Party Bachelorette

Such a lovely stay at Abigail's Nest! I booked this rental for my younger sister's bachelorette weekend, she wanted a quiet slumber party with all her girlfriends and this was the PERFECT backdrop for it. The house was adorable, and more open/spacious than the pictures convey- pleasantly surprised! We booked it because we wanted one big space we could all fit in at the same time (there were 13 of us), and we all fit comfortably in the living room, and also around the huge dining room table. The house was spotless when we arrived, there was a little binder and a personalized message for us which was so sweet. The decor was very cute and filled with personal touches, photographs, and glimpses into the family's life- you can tell they truly treasure this home and one another. The bedrooms were large and extremely comfortable (and able to fit an extra air mattress if needed!), and the kitchen was the perfect size to lay out all our snacks and still be close to the living room and dining table. We had an awesome night eating snacks, playing games, and I would absolutely book again (maybe in the summer next time so we can enjoy the outside of the house!) Overall, 10/10 would recommend. Thanks for hosting us!!! :)
