“The heat system was horrible. It was so loud to have the heat on but soon after you turned it off the room became very cold. The floors were so cold you had to wear shoes inside. It was extremely drafty around both the door entrance and the balcony doors. There seemed to be little or no thought for being environmentally conscious at all which seemed very odd in a national park. For the high price we paid this was nothing more than an average motor motel. ”

“Nicole at the front desk was wonderfully cheerful and friendly. I am super grateful for the breakfast voucher and room upgrade for my 55th Birthday. All the staff were extra friendly. We would definitely stay again.”

“Kimberley is a great town for a weekend getaway and the Larix is the perfect cozy hotel with a European feel. The rooms have comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and while on the smaller side, still managed our luggage perfectly. ”

“it was clean and parking was very good and breakfast was good. staff didn't know they had passes for the shuttle so we paid for shuttle ride twice. And i had requested a roller bed but when we got there they exchanged my room for two queen beds . my hope is you don't charge me for the roller bed that we didn't get or use. very nice place and we look forward to returning.”
