Elkins Cottage är en rymlig och vackert inredda 3 sovrum. Ursprungligen en fiskare stuga del av en traditionell färgstark terrass med utsikt över den livliga fiskehamnen i Brixham. Stugan med utsikt över havet till framsidan har en terrasserad trädgård bakom vilket ger utrymme att koppla av och äta utomhus. Elkins Cottage har ett underbart läge i hjärtat av Brixham, bara en kort promenad ner till hamnen med många restauranger och kaféer, tillsammans med oberoende butiker och lokala bekvämligheter. Det är en idealisk plats att börja utforska den vackra södra Devon kusten med sandstränder och dramatisk kust samt andra lokala attraktioner som Paignton Zoo, Berry Head Nature Reserve och Greenway Estate hem Agatha Christie. Elkins Cottage är ett snyggt inredda hem, när du kommer in i stugan i en liten entré, flyttar du in i det varma och inbjudande vardagsrummet med sin vedeldade spis och bekväma sittplatser som leder in i det stora kökets matsal. Till baksidan är franska dörrar ut till en gård med steg som leder upp till trädgården. På första våningen finns ett mysigt dubbelrum med en original spis, klädkammare och fantastisk utsikt över Brixham, medan badrummet och dubbelrummet finns på baksidan av stugan, det stora dubbelrummet har en dörrledande till trädgården med en täckt gångväg. På översta våningen hittar du ett vackert presenterat kung storlek rum med utsikt inte bara av hamnen men över bukten till Torquay.

NYE in brixham

We had an amazing stay over the weekend.the house is very well presented,cosy and equipped. The veiws are stunning,and location is perfect for a short walk into the town.the town its self has lots to do and see,with great places to eat and drink. A fantastic weekend and we wil be back.🙂

Great property, great location

We absolutely loved staying here. The property was clean and welcoming and had obviously been thoughtfully prepared for guests. It was a short walk to the harbour where there is plenty to do. We made a mistake with our booking dates and the owner was very understanding which I was very grateful for.

Very good location nowhere to park the car had to walk a while to get it.Other than that it was good

It was not the easiest of places to get to but as a 77 year old we gave it our best shot .

Beautiful home, fantastic location

Loved our stay here. Property was clean and beautifully decorated. One long set of steps and you will pop out right at the harbour. The views were amazing. Didn’t want to leave.

Relaxing stay at Elkins cottage

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at Elkins cottage. They cottage was wonderfully clean and the location was beautiful. Just a short walk into Brixham. It was lovely to relax with a glass of wine and watch the boats down at the harbour. We definitely recommend it to our family and friends.

Would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved Anna's property, it was beautifully furnished, with amazing views out onto the harbour. Location was perfect, our only regret is that we did not stay longer! Anna was an excellent host, providing clear and accurate information and instructions with some suggestions on what to do in the local area. Would highly recommend!

Fabulous location, character home

A small but perfectly formed cottage, great for a small family. Easy access to the centre, but need to be reasonably fit and able. The decor is immaculate and the views incredible. We did the coastal walk around Berry Head - 10km of views - with lunch on the way. Highly recommend a stay in this picturesque fishing port.

Stylist decor and great harbour views

Beautifully presented property (very stylist decor!) conveniently located a few minutes walk from Brixham Harbour. Lovely sea view from the first and second floors of the accommodation. The house is on a steep hill and there is a steep staircase down to the harbour so unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Perfect to experience Brixham

Elkins Cottage is all you could wish for to enjoy a break in Brixham and experience a traditional fisherman’s house on the steep harbourside, with great views across the town, harbour and bay. The house is very tastefully decorated and furnished, and well equipped, and the welcoming wine was much appreciated. We had family coming and going during our stay but even with six adults at capacity the accommodation was comfortable and hot water plentiful, although if heading out you may need an early start for bathroom rota. Would highly recommend the property provided mobility around narrow roads by car and very steep steps into the town are not a concern, but proximity to the town is a massive plus. The quayside is just a few minutes walk away. Thanks to Anna for a hugely enjoyable stay, and for all the communication and flexibility, particularly in the uncertain times of 2020 when staying at all was a major doubt.

Stylish pad and fab location

Such a stylish cottage, great interior design and great location. So well equipped and considerately equipped. Loved the garden, has lots of potential to improve and especially enjoyed the evening views from the top terrace. Super-speedy, responsive and very helpful host.
