Harmony Hall at The Grange, Luxury Estate in Virginia Wine Country

Plan your dream escape at Harmony Hall, an elite 20-acre estate in Haymarket, Virginia. Secluded and ethereal, it’s just minutes from shopping, dining, and I-66. Wineries, breweries, and horses adorn the idyllic parkland and wooded surroundings. Unbelievable features and thoughtful touches make it unforgettable.

Start in the kitchens. There are two: a spacious eat-in kitchen upstairs and a catering kitchen with luxury amenities on the main level. The catering kitchen features a sub-zero refrigerator/freezer, Sharp drawer microwave, Dacor gas cooktop and twin ovens, Breville Airfryer/toaster, Jura Espresso/Cappuccino maker, and more. Enjoy two enormous kitchenette-style bars with instant hot water, microwave, toaster oven, underbar beverage fridges, and an event room bar. Also, look for the mid-century Mad Men-style surprise closet bar in the library!

Relax in the bedrooms with silk, cotton, well-appointed furnishings, HD smart TVs, and louvered shades. Enjoy en suite bathrooms and extra living/sitting rooms for privacy. The nursery and playroom offer options for kids to play and nap, with additional bed options for those without children.

Let’s discuss bathrooms: some consider them the most important room in the house. We have eight full baths and two half baths. Bidets and heated seats are gentle on the bottom. The primary bath has a steam shower large enough for a group (ha!). In the other baths, rainfall shower heads and massaging jets soothe sore muscles. Soaking tubs and marble vanities create a glamorous atmosphere unmatched elsewhere.

Experience the ultimate utopian playground. Walk out of the fitness center to a spacious hot tub, pool, and waterfall. Head to the underground sports bar for a Samsung 75 inch UHD TV, poker & mahjong table, and relaxing sitting area. Geek out in the adjoining game room with Indiana Jones pinball, regulation fussball, and a top-shelf drum set. Next, find the billiards lounge. The expansive movie theater has fully-reclining seating and a 110 inch screen. The fitness room has treadmills, TRX, full body cable weights, massage/stretching table, weight bench, and a full bath. The golf simulation room can also serve as an additional movie theater, and has its own half bath.

French doors and sheer curtains lead to the expansive brick and turf courtyard with a bronze estate fountain. Outside features a pool, spa, waterfall, Italian-inspired hedges, manicured landscapes, wildlife, a creek, fire pit, and relaxing conversation seating. For the adventurous, private wooded acreage with ferns, moss, and an ambleway and bridge dappled in sunlight awaits. The sporting types can try tennis, pickleball, and basketball on the just resurfaced court with a court-side fire pit and seating. A ping pong table, corn hole set, and artist easel are also available. No one will be bored with all the activities in this stunning setting!

Fur babies are welcome, and there are two electric car charging stations. Harmony Hall makes your dreams a reality in any season.

Note: Our pool is outdoors and surrounded by nature, so some leaves or dust may settle between twice weekly professional cleanings. We've provided a net for any quick touch-ups you may need to enjoy the pool at its best. We've ordered a new spa cover, but they are custom made, so in the meantime, thanks for not noticing the current one is more than a bit tatty. The spa is maintained twice weekly on the same schedule as the pool. The pool techs are ninja like and will never enter the house for any reason.

The property contains two houses, connected by an upstairs breezeway and sharing a courtyard. Please note that we leave the ballroom, cocktail room, courtyard and library empty of furniture for your custom configuration. We have plenty of high quality folding tables and chairs for your family dinner, outdoor enjoyment, etc. Let us know how you'd like it set up for your stay! We also have tablecloths and chafing dishes you can use, or bring your own supplies for a truly custom look. Your enjoyment is our only goal.

If you plan to have a dinner or other small event during your stay, let us know and we'll consider case by case. We ask a $25 surcharge per non-overnight guest and an extra cleaning fee.

Also of note: This is an expansive estate with thousands of details to maintain. While we do everything we can to deliver every detail to the highest standard, some things are beyond the control of staff or may be accidentally overlooked.
