âWe had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there...
âFantastic experience! The staff were awesome. Appreciated how well kept the tents were . Would of loved some more traditional South African food options and Game but otherwise everything was tasty.

âThe guesthouse provided an excellent stay. The room was spacious and well-appointed, complete with high-quality amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night. The small kitchen and well-stocked minibar added a convenient touch to the stay. Although two of the LED lights were not functioning, the overall experience was very positive and offered great value for money.

âVery friendly and helpfull staf, beautifull view of sunset on the hill. Very spacious room. Breakfast was perfect. Diner was great. The bar makes perfect cocktails.
