Winding Creek Lodge 5+ Bedroom 5 Bathroom w/ Gameroom Near Broken Bow Lake!

This new luxury log cabin is located in the Oak Ridge addition - a very short drive from Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park on Hwy. 259-A. The spacious great room features a two-story wood-burning rock fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows to bring in the beauty of the pine forest. Each of the 5 bedrooms offer king size beds with luxury linens and a private full bathroom. The chef in your group will have everything they need to prepare a full meal for 16 people. The kitchen features a large dining room table with seating for 12, plus extra seating at the granite top island bar.

Upstairs is a large loft game room with a pool table, wet bar, large flat screen TV, 2nd refrigerator, coffee maker and an open sun deck overlooking the creek. The fifth bedroom and 5th full bath are also located upstairs.

The 1.3 acre wooded lot features a creek that runs 365 days a year. You will love relaxing in the oversized hot tub under a star-filled Oklahoma night sky. You may even make friends with the raccoons and deer that often stop by in the late evenings.

With advanced notice, you can place your order with Beavers Bend Adventures to have your kitchen stocked with your favorite grocery items, wine and fresh flowers. You may also want to schedule a 1-hour massage in the private and peaceful surroundings of your cabin. Winding Creek Lodge is an especially beautiful, rustic luxury cabin. You will want to return again and again to Winding Creek Lodge.

Amazing Thanksgiving!

Property was just as described. We came to celebrate Thanksgiving with out of state family. Had everything we needed for our feast. The Pac-Man arcade game and pool table entertained the 20 something’s. Perfect location to town. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Bring a presto log or your own wood for a fire in the living room. The outside wood was too wet to burn. No internet the whole time we were there. Not a huge deal except for turkey day football not televised on directtv. You cannot stream to the TV’s. They are locked down. We will definitely be back!

Broken Bow Christmas 2022

My family and I like liked the property. It was very beautiful and clean. There were some things that needed to be fixed. The bottom trundle bed in the game room was broke so we could not use that. The sofa bed near the fire place sunk in so no one slept on that. The good thing is that there were other couches and a chase to sleep on as an alternative. Also, there was no trash bags provided and the outside trash bin was already full , and the TV remotes upstairs were not working. Housekeeping came the next day to provide trash bags and someone came and fixed one remote in the game room, but the the upstairs bedroom was still not resolved. Overall despite the minor mishaps, we truly enjoyed ourselves and will return to Broken Bow :)

You should know…

While the property itself was beautiful and the house clean, things that might be of interest to future bookers are: Upper floor makes a TON of noise with movement. Lower floor guests were woken multiple times. The beds are incredibly soft. If anyone moves, all occupying the bed feel it. The arcade has a button that doesn’t work so not all games were playable. Maintenance came out to look at it and determined it was circuit board issue. It was not fixed during our stay. The fridge leaked as previous posters commented. Maintenance claimed they hadn’t been made aware of this issue. The grills that were there upon arriving were severely damaged but maintenance delivered new grill! Bring bug spray! Several people found ticks on them. Creative Escapes sent maintenance twice to address the issues we had so they were very responsive.

The stay itself was awesome but there were a few minor issues. The fridge took too long to get cold. the upstairs bath would take hours to drain. One more thing the upstairs patio had a hole and had to be fixed when we got there.

Not all it appeared to be

This property was dirty, floors appear to have not been cleaned in quite a while, ceiling fans lined with dust and black mold under the kitchen sink. The beds were terrible, the ice box leaked and there was a water leak under the kitchen sink. The home itself was beautiful. Quite disappointing on the "comfort" level. I should of listened to the comments previously listed and kept looking.

Annual Christmas Vacation

We have been taking a family trip for over 10 years. We love having a home to stay in together with 15 it’s not always easy. We love hochatown/broken bow area. Everything about the house and grounds was fabulous. Our only complaint are the roads are terrible. You could lose a small car in some of the potholes. But we still had a fabulous time. Nice but needs a couple things

Stay was nice. Worth the price. But there needs to be some upgrades. Mattresses, bedding, and pillows were not very good at all. One toilet had a leak. Water leaked out from under fridge too. Living area furniture was very nice though. And the outdoor furniture was plentiful and nice. Hot tub only had a couple jets working.

Family Getaway!

We absolutely loved this cabin! It’s so spacious, and beautiful inside! The rooms and beds were amazing. The hot tub was nice, we enjoyed it all so much. More than enough room for the 6 of us. It’s the perfect place to just get away from home and relax! I would definitely rent this cabin again! But it is not wheelchair accessible and we thought it was. That is the only issue we had. Also, management does respond back in a timely manner so that’s good! We were very happy with our experience! There are huge potholes on the street leading to the cabin, so watch out!

Marriage retreat

5 King size bedrooms were all very comfortable. Game room was nice addition. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Too hot for the hot tub but would have been a nice addition in cooler weather. Some minor things were missing from what you would expect but nothing major that would cause a disruption to your stay. And with a store 10 min drive away you can run and get forgotten or needed items.
