“Lovely people - thank you”

“Superbly hosted by Jen and Howard. If your heading to Brecon look no further! With views of the Beacons second to none.”

“This new business in a refurbished premises offers comfortable and well-appointed accommodation and a great atmosphere.”

“Staff very helpfull, parking good, food average.”

“I stayed in the Hayloft. My hosts could not have been more charming. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished and much care had gone into it. The one thing that I think let it down was the quality of the beds - 4 singles - the mattress lacked support and you could actually feel the springs in it. I think a mattress upgrade would match the high quality bedding that is provided. The only other thing was that the fridge was switched off and open when I arrived. Maybe this is the way it is done in...

“Great service, location and food. Altogether a fantastic charming hotel with tender care.”

“Lovely stay at the Bear. Food was excellent and the room clean. Staff were very helpful. Always enjoy my visit.”

“Nice hotel. Really tight way in to the parking but other than that it was a very nice stay.”

“Har aldrig liknande inchecking och mottagning, dom vägrade lämna ut nycklarna till rummet pga sen incheckning, det var ett papper som måste fyllas i och det vägrade flunken, så polis fick tillkallas…”

“Suveränt hotell med charmig blandning av levande historia och moderna faciliteter. Avskilt läge med härlig utsikt över dalen men samtidigt nära till större vägar och samhällen. Gourmet dining och det bästa kaffet i Wales!”

“Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. ”

“Great location, very friendly and helpful owner (Steve), excellent facilities and very comfortable holiday home ….with 7 days of 20+ temperatures and wall to wall sunshine ! …only very slight negative being that the windows could prob do with a better clean given the great views. Steve’s recommendation of the Seven Stars at Aberedw about 2 miles away was also excellent…nothing fancy about the food but very tasty, good portions and a really nice environment in a community owned country pub.”

“Well maintained and characteristic property with exposed beams and period features combined with modern decor and facilities. The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way. Whilst its proximity to the road is close, it was not a busy road, so passing traffic was not an issue during our stay. There was a pub within 1min walk of the property that also...

“Great location. Quiet area. Good value for money. Ideal size for a couple. Pet friendly. Perfect base for hiking as only a short drive to popular peaks. Parking tricky due to narrow street, limited spaces. Kitchen basically a conservatory, so most of the day time difficult to spent time in due to heat (late June). Would be very cosy in winter, autumn or early spring. ”
