Need to focus more on personnel and service
Very appealing new hotel with very good facilities and attractive setting. But the Company is obviously skimping on personnel. Check-in and check-out were taxing to say the least...mainly due to a lack of personnel or a lack of sufficiently trained personnel. There was a feeling of no employees actually being there during our stay. Most interesting was the fact that there appeared to be some “free-riders” of the outdoor patio and pool areas due to no one monitoring the premises there. The “no alcohol” sign in those areas was blatantly being violated as well. Yet, so nice looking was the hotel....

We will be back!
While I booked a room at the Residence Inn, upon check-in we were told that we had to be moved to the Fairfield that is attached/part of the same property. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and I can't say enough good about the hotel itself. Exceptionally clean, spacious, comfortable, great breakfast, nice bar, friendly staff. Love the area too - lots of places to eat nearby, lots of places to go hiking or walk a local trail and easy drive back and forth to CU. We will definitely stay here again!

Weekend away
Very nice, clean and spacious room. The bed was comfortable enough. Walk in shower is quite modern with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Great breakfast offerings and the space is very open with plenty of room to move around. There's a nice looking bar and lounge. Close to restaurants and shops.

The Residence Inn itself is great! What we didn't like was our first night they transfer us to lower grade hotel near by because they are over booked! They sent us to Townplace suite hotel , where the elevator broken , so we have to carry our own suitcases by stairs, and We had our severe autistic daughter travelled with us , body wash empty at the bathroom and toilet clogged, my husband had to go get clogger and did it himself! What a NIGHTMARE!! Really unpleasant experienced on our first night!! Hope never happen to anybody else ! They should send us to the same grade convenience hotel, not to lower grade. I wasn't happy what they did to us, I choose a lot using Residence Inn on our trips , but at this time not satisfy us .

This location is amazing for visiting the Denver-Boulder area. The staff were very nice and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable and I loved that I was able to have a kitchen. There are a lot of cool common areas to hang out in, including a grill and a fire pit. The gym is open 24-7 and includes a good variety of equipment. The breakfast is fresh and they even have cold brew! You can walk to Walmart in 2 minutes, as well as a dozen different stores and restaurants in the Interlocken loop area. Highly recommend!

Mattress quality is very poor, unable to sleep for 2 days and i got back pain due to sinking mattress. They are supposed to change bedsheets and towels on a daily basis and i was told the same diring check in time but they didn't provide any house keeping services in those 2 days

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. We would have been happy to find you a different room with a different mattress if you brought this to our attention. I apologize that the one in your room was not in the best condition. We are not supposed to change bedsheets and towels on a daily basis. Per Marriott brand Standards we are to offer a light housekeeping option for our guests by request every other day per our website.

Modern and clean but poor service
Hotel is new and modern. We enjoyed having the fully equipped kitchen. Even though they say on the website that there is service daily, there is not. We were told we’d get service every 3 days and only if you ask for it. I did ask for it on the 4th day, but no one came. They said I was not on the list.

The service was not good. They seemed to be understaffed. We turned in a work order for a stopped up sink and it was never addressed. A couple of other requests were not followed up on as well. The room was nice and overall served our need.

One of the staff members was not wearing a mask upon check-in, so that was a little disconcerting, especially as someone who lives just one block over where a mask mandate is in place and this hotel stating its staff wears masks.
