“Really lovley area, check-in was easy and Jay was nice enought to let us drop our bags early so we could explore newastle. Of note, due to train strikes 2 of our trains were canceled or skipped the Cramlington stops so keep an eye on that if you make any appointments that rely on public transport.”

“Superb position, you can hear the waves crashing as you leave the hotel, with stunning views across the road. Even dived in the inviting looking North Sea, which is invigorating! Parking is limited, but is free after 6pm at a large carpark a short stroll away. Excellent cooked breakfast from 6:30 to 10am which suited my fine - really friendly staff; even asked if I needed anything for my room each day which was a lovely touch. “The property is an 18th century coach house so don’t expect brand new anything, that being said the place is full of character, but the most important part of this inn are the excellent staff, mostly Maureen (Mo) and Gracie. They were superbly professional yet warm and welcoming and made our 2 day stay a pleasure. The food was excellent (well done Becca) with a great choice. The room was spotless and clean as was the bathroom, would definitely go back and probably will. Well done all.”
