“I stay around 10 times a year.
A 5 star welcome, 5 star food, 5 star service and a 5 star room.
A unique old hotel with a modern, clean, tidy fresh feel.
The food is amazing, locals travel here for the food.
Highly recammend!”

“Very disappointing stay, particularly considering the price paid.

Breakfast was poor in both quality and service, and got worse as the week progressed. We ate in the restaurant one evening and paid premium prices for very poor food. The pizza appeared to have a shop-bought base and...

“The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. However, the room needed some TLC. The showerhead sprayed water in all directions, the toilet did not flush very well, and the bedsheets could have been cleaner, as there were marks that looked like possible oil stains.
The bathroom could also do with a new blind, as the existing one had yellow staining. The room itself was comfortable, but unfortunately, the sash windows were left closed but unlocked which we did not discover until the...

“No toilet facilities since we were allocated the room. No flushing toilet all stay. Was promised it would be looked at, it wasn’t so had to sleep in an unsanitary room! Still awaiting for a part refund (since 3 October)! Avoid!”
