“Lovely hotel and would definitely recommend a stay there. Beautiful room and super clean with all the amenities you could need. Staff are super friendly and nothing is too must trouble. We had our evening meal and breakfast in the hotel, both exceptional . Will definitely stay here again 10/10”

“Situated in a picture postcard little village, everything about the hotel was top notch, the decor throughout and our room was tasteful and modern, everything was spotless and clean. The food was excellent, I had the fish platter which I would highly recommend. Staff were attentive and polite, it's a five stars from me”

“My friend and I had a girlie two night break at this hotel and loved it. When we arrived the receptionist noticed I was using a walking aid and unprompted started looking to change our room to an accessible room eliminating needing to use stairs. We were very touched by his thoughtfulness. It was an upgrade to a suite which was outstanding and it really enhanced our comfort and experience. We had a sitting room (with verandah) which was very comfortable and well equipped with a coffee maker,...

The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful. “Very good B&B in Pickering. Clean rooms, quiet in night. I arrived late in the night and keys were easy to collect. Breakfast was excellent and staff really nice. No problems to arrange early breakfast on my departure day. The temperature in room was perfect for sleeping even in July. Wifi working as you expect. Next time in Pickering i will stay here. Recommended!”

“Beautiful country hotel, small and personal service, delightful comfortable en-suite rooms, warm inviting pool - often to ourselves, incredible top class gourmet food - formal dining and bar food served in the warm and cosy bar area or the relaxing lounge. So much choice at breakfast, all delicious, everything you could want. Can’t wait to go back in summer to enjoy the open terrace overlooking the pond. A real joy to stay here.”
