Hotell i Brownsville

“Check in was horrible. Staff couldn’t be bothered to wait on us and then were so distracted they didn’t give us directions to our room or explain the breakfast and other amenities. Our keys were put on the counter and they turned to another guest. The bathroom grout was disgusting. In the morning, the breakfast buffet was out of food by 8am with no move to replenish it. Confused at the high rating. Won’t stay here again and I’m usually easy going.”

“The hotel seems to be in the middle of updating. The bath/shower was updated, and the room was clean. But, the window drapes had areas where the lining was missing and light came through. The hvac system worked well. When we went to our 2nd floor room around 4pm a painter was still painting the hallways and the paint smell filled the area. “We are driving around the US, and this was a cozy one night stop along the road. It is what you expect from a nice roadside motel: clean, comfortable and with fantastic service from the owner. She recommended the farmer's market across the road, and New Paris has a couple of affordable antique shops if you want to pass some time. Would stay again!”

“Our stay was wonderful! Property was well maintained with easy parking (we had a small trailer). Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower had nice hot water with good water pressure. I would definitely recommend. ”

“This was a basic 60s style single level motel. Very clean and comfortable bedding. Easy chair in my room was heavily stained. Breakfast is minimal, at best. I got a good price so stayed but would not likely stay again.”

“Air conditioning unit in the room did not cool. The room was 88 degrees upon our arrival. After turning the air on and dropping it to the lowest 60 degrees and fan on high the room only ever cooled a few degrees during our entire stay. The pool was closed due to claimed maintenance. The sprinkler system supposedly caused the fire alarm to go off around 10:50pm. Everyone had to vacate the property and wait until the fire department cleared the hotel. “No hot water when taking a shower. The shower door would not stay closed. The staff was outside when we arrived. They watched us walk in before they came in the building.”

“Our stay was a basic overnite stay, When we got to the room, it smelled like cigarette smoke. Bathroom wasn't clean, used towel hanging on the hook of bathroom door. Floors had not been vacuumed at all. Basically the only thing done was beds were made. As we went out to dinner, I stopped at the front desk and told them, all he said was he'd make note of it. “Trevligt hotell, jättefint rum. Frukosten var inte speciellt bra och serverades ur ett skåp i lobbyn. Bra med parkering mitt över gatan. Fint område runt hotellet i centrum.”
