Pros: Location! A 5-10 minute walk to the city center and the main tourist area. Great spot for the price!Cons: Comms - We needed to reach out twice to request checkin instructions. However, once received they were easy and straightforward (we never received checkout instructions)Toilet - The base leaked a little (clearly this was not new but it was still functional)Dishwasher - This leaked quite a bit so we decided best not to use it (not functional)Shower - The shower head was not attached to the wall (still worked as a hand-held shower)Smoke - Although a non-smoking apt, clearly the couch was part of a smoking room at one point (unfortunately, it's the first thing you walk past)Elevator - As another reviewer mentioned it was still broken (the 4 flights of stairs with luggage was a workout/Overall: It was "fine" but it really needs just a bit of TLC. There wasn't one single thing that was bad, just a lot of little things that compounded into slightly less than mediocre experience.

Küche ist sehr schmutzig und haben wir daher nicht benutzt. Betten, Handtücher und Bad sind sauber.Die Bilder entsprechen nicht dem Zustand, da die Wohnung bereits viel benutzt ist.Die Lage ist ruhig und zentral für die Besichtigung von Brüssel. Nur wenige Schritte zu den Lokalen.

Hébergement idéalement placé dans le centre de Bruxelles, sans être dans une rue bruyante.Spacieux et confortable.Nous y avons passé un bon séjour. L'ascenseur ne semble pas fonctionner depuis un moment et c'est au 4e, prévoir plutôt des petites valises !Prévoir des bols serait bien pour accueillir les familles.Le bémol :Le sol de la cuisine était gras et collant, et le lave vaisselle fuit, ce qui n' était pas indiqué. L'eau s'est déversée au sol et nous avons du tout éponger et nettoyer.Ce sont des désagréments qui peuvent être facilement corrigés.

It is a walking distance from the train and metro station and you have a lot of services near by but it is on the 4th floor so with luggage it is not easy to go up the stairs.

Amazing potential with this unique apartment

We had a great two nights in this apartment. We had space for all of our kids and it has quick access to a nearby metro station, making it a central hub for exploring Brussels or all of Belgium. The host has had issues with communication through VRBO and didn't initially respond to messages through the app, but they were very responsive and helpful when we contacted them directly. Once we got the communication figured out, getting checked in and accessing the apartment was simple. It seems like it is a fairly new rental property, and they are still getting some things together. We would have liked some kitchen towels or rags (kids are messy), there weren't enough bath towels for the stated occupancy, and the smoke alarm battery was beeping. Those are all minor complaints though, the overall experience was still very positive.

Best location

A very comfortable apartment, to highlight the location and the heating. You can walk to the tourist attractions and be warm when you arrive at the accommodation.We had 2 towels per guest and bathroom amenities.To contact the landlord, it is best to write him via WhatsApp since the vrbo app causes problems.

Apartment

The apartment is okay. Although, i wish the elevator is working the apartment unit is all the to 4th floor with very narrow spiral staircases. Not suitable carrying heavy suitcases or groceries even. Plus, not enough towels for.maximum occupacy which 6 people.no bath soap, shampoo and conditioner. I wish the owner explain well how to open the unit like..key is inside the key locked box using a pin code to open the key box. Couch in living room has stains and it covered with small cloth or bed. Rather that cleaning it. Location is next to cabaret. Although, its only 7 minutes from the Brussels train station. .
