The property was very clean & everything ran smooth, we had a restful weekend. The plumbing needs attention. Some weird sputtering thing going on, but the water stayed plenty hot for showers so its wasnt a huge deal. Would stay again.

Property was about right for the price. Owner should let customers know where the breaker box is. We lost power several times and we couldn’t locate it. It was in the bathroom behind a wooden door and pillows stacked in front of it. It was probably a one-off thing. Outside the cabin needs a little sprucing up. I’m sure the housekeeper doesn’t do outside. Overall, a good stay and centrally located.

This was a wonderful experience! As others have said the place was extremely clean. Check in process couldn’t have been any easier. The home was near NOA whitewater Center and also near the Great Smokey Mountain Railway. The accommodations were everything we needed and Jaime was very kind and communicative. We had such a lovely time.

Great location, very clean!

The cabin was very well furnished, we had everything we needed. We have stayed in a number of cabins and this we were shocked how clean and tidy everything was. Very welcoming.

Beautiful location, super cozy residence

Very well equipped, beautiful cabin in a nice location. There’s lots to do around the area and my family and I had a great time. The property is very clean and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable, there are 2 rooms with a bed each. My daughters didn’t want to share the beds so we brought an inflatable mattress and everyone was comfortable.

Mountain Getaway

Off the grid, very quiet and convenient to a lot of outdoor activities. Also property comes with use of a very nice pool and a great restaurant. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Great cozy cabin

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The location is great...close to the NOC, river, lake, and Bryson city. Two bedrooms and shared bathroom was fine for two couples. Kitchen was sufficient. Would definitely stay here again.

Spring 2025

Our stay at Lazy Bear was brief, but it served the purpose we needed just fine. We were fishing in the area and needed a cabin for one night. The property manager sent us everything in advance, so checking in was very easy. The cabin seemed to be well stocked with all the essentials.

Great location and easy to find. The cabin itself was great, 1 king bed and 1 queen bed, both comfortable. The wifi and direct tv workwd great. Host was very responsive and accommodated my requests. Would definitely stay again.worked were

Cozy and clean

Loved the property! It was very clean, beds were comfortable and plenty of linens and towels provided. Property owner replied quickly when sent a question. We will be back!

The cabin was very nice and clean. The location was great as well. We booked for 5 adults and 2 children. Everything met our expectations. The only slight issue was the lack of towels for the amount of people for the duration of our stay.

Spring Visit to Great Smoky Mountains

This was a nice enough place to stay for our visit to the Great Smoky Mountains. It was very clean and comfortable. Could use a few more lamps as it’s very dark in the living room and bedroom. The resort was not open for the season yet so unable to use any of their amenities. Easy access to Bryson City and Cherokee for meals.
