This vrbo was adorable. It was clean and well stocked. In addition, the yard was a perfect area for our dog to run. Communication with the owner was excellent. We even had a blast in kayaks on the James River in the middle of a huge rain storm. Fun couple of days!

This is a wonderful, well decorated and cheerful home that had everything we needed for 9 days. Everything is updated and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels were of nice quality. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking in several nights. The property is beautiful and right on the river. The train goes by on some evenings so there was noise from than but very quiet. Nat is an amazing host and checked in and gave us recommendations before our arrival which was very much appreciated as we were traveling from Colorado for the USA Mountain Bike Nationals and not familiar with the area.

Family vacation

Great location for our family vacation, we came from Alabama and Delaware. Enjoyed the accommodations and local park for the grandkids. Location was convenient for day trips to Roanoke and Natural Bridge.

Nat was one of the most helpful hosts I’ve ever interacted with. He gave us so many recommendations on things to do, where to eat as well as details about the house and area, which made planning for the trip that much easier. House is located right off the blue ridge parkway for easy access to hikes and right down the street from twin river outfitters. Great stay!

It was a nice surprise to have the river in the back yard. The beds were so comfortable and so much room in the kitchen and dining area. The back deck was so nice to hang out on. We will be back !!

Nice stay in Buchanan

Enjoyed the home very much - we enjoyed the accessibility of the home and the porch. It was wonderful for our family of four. Very comfortable beds, great kitchen and dining areas.

Wonderful Stay

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay! The house is nicer in person than the pictures! We enjoyed the town of Buchanan and hope to come back and stay in the same home!

Location to Chill

A beautiful location that allowed our family at attend a college graduation, a navy commissioning, and a beautiful wedding. It was always nice for our family to come back here each night to relax!

Great, clean house!

Met some buddies for a golf trip, this house was in great condition, slept all four adults comfortably and had some nice hang out areas. The owner is a great host and offered a lot of details about the home and the local area. Will stay here again!

This property was perfect and the location was great and so close to The Virginia Safari Park. We enjoyed swinging on the back porch and enjoying the view and back yard.

We enjoyed a weekend at the house with family. Walked to a coffee shop. Fished on the river. The house is very well equipped…everything you could need. Great communication with the owner throughout. We plan to stay again in the future.

Nat is the best of best when it comes to owners. He made sure we knew where to go and what to do while we were there. Comfort was ensured several times. The house is well stocked and very clean. We loved the nearby brewery, little coffee shop and ice cream spots. If you're looking for a place to stay in this area....this is it!

VMI Family Weekend

We enjoyed our stay! Super cute home. Boys enjoyed getting to hang out away from post and down by the river. Nate did an excellent job communicating with us before our stay and informing us of all the opportunities to explore during our stay.

Truly 10/10. Lovely remodeled house that's clean, comfortable and well-stocked. We had everything we needed and then some. The back porch is a huge bonus and we loved the games and floats. Would highly recommend!!
