This newly renovated bright and open ranch, located in the heart of Buckeye Lake Village, has all new furniture styled with an inviting boho lake vibe. Across the street is a walk-bike path to the North Shore and the public boat ramp. Just a short walk to restaurants, live music, and drinks including Buckeye Lake Brewery, The Yacht Club, Dips on the Lake, and The Boat Yard.
Buckeye Lake is ideal for all summer activities including boating, tubing, fishing, swimming, and watching that gorgeous Buckeye Lake Sunset, but it’s also the perfect getaway for all four seasons and just a 10 minute drive to Legend Valley, 1 exit away. See you soon!

All short-term rentals in the Village of Buckeye Lake are governed under ordinances #2022-36 and #2023-27. There is an additional 3% per night charge due for the Village of Buckeye Lake bed tax.

  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. Orton Hall is built of 40 different Ohio building stones. In the outside walls, these stones are laid in stratigraphic order according to their relative positions in Ohio's bedrock. The only non-indigenous to Ohio stone used is Indiana Limestone to build the front steps. It was chosen because of its high concentration of embedded fossils. The bell tower was dedicated in 1915 and contains 25,000 pounds of bells that can be heard regularly tolling across campus. Encircling the top of the tower are 24 columns with gargoyle-like figures which are restorations of fossil animals.

We had a wonderful stay at Buckeye Lake! The property was spotless and looked exactly like the pictures. The owners truly thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and easy, from the little details to the bigger touches that made it feel like home. Fall getaway

We came in for a concert that was cancelled because of the rain but in between raindrops were able to enjoy the area. The house was beautiful and well equip so we didn't need to bring a thing. So relaxing. The bed and couches were so comfy. Home away from home.

Super-comfortable cottage a short walk to Buckeye Lake

This 2 bedroom house is immaculate and includes all the most up-to-date amenities. The beginning of our weeklong stay was during a heat wave, but the central air kept the house pleasantly cool. Five-minute walk to the lakefront and restaurants. Hosts were friendly and attentive. We made several trips to Denison Univ. (20 min.) and a trip into Columbus (45 min.) and enjoyed the Buckeye Lake community in general. We enjoyed a pleasant and comfortable stay in this fine Buckeye Lake house!

September getaway on Buckeye lake

Very clean, great property. Plenty of space inside and out. Highly recommend staying here and would absolutely stay again. Huge bathroom, very comfy rooms and bedrooms. Perfect family stay and the commutation was 5 star. From start to finish it was a 5 star experience.

Beautiful home

We absolutely love this place! The owner has provided very tasteful decorations, nice linens for bedding and the primary bedroom has the most comfortable bed we have slept on. I liked that we could park our vehicle beside the house. The response from the owner was very prompt. I would rate this as one of our best stays ever! We will definitely be back again!
