The place is exactly like the pictures, and everything is very nice. It would be even better if the balcony had a cover, as the wind can be quite strong sometimes.

This place is unbelievable, it was the most amazing place we have stayed. They have thought of absolutely everything to make this a perfect stay. We were in complete awe. The room is set up perfectly with everything you need and much more. The view is spectacular. We saw seals playing right in front of us and the most beautiful sunset. If you have a chance to stay here don’t miss the opportunity, it will be unforgettable.

Such a unique experience! The host messaged us with clear instructions the night before making it super easy when we arrived. The property felt very luxurious and we loved the finishes, it felt like our own personal spa! They even had an information book on the property that was rich with knowledge. We loved that they even had a telescope to spot the seals (we saw ~10 in the bay)! They were very close to town so we could pick up some groceries for dinner and the compact kitchen was stocked well. We were impressed with the black out curtains throughout as we had almost full day sun. We absolutely loved our stay!

Questo è senza dubbio il posto migliore in cui sia stata in Islanda. La stanza, quasi interamente vetrata, soffitto compreso, regala una vista magica sul fiordo. È curata nei minimi dettagli e dotata di tutto il necessario. La cucina è completamente accessoriata, con bollitore per il tè e macchina Nespresso. Pulizia impeccabile. Consiglio vivamente di trascorrere almeno una notte in questo lodge, perché è davvero unico nel suo genere.

We arrived late in the day with most of the restaurants were closed. There was some indication on the communications. When Returning home I found an extra charge on my credit card???? It was expensive as it was.

I don't know where to start, but this was an amazing stay from arrival to departure. The suite was in a great location, the entire suite was amazing from the comfort, to the view, and the host. The suite was equipped with everything we needed, and very roomy. We watched the seals on the beach, and enjoyed watching the sunset. It was so peaceful, and spotless. Since the sun didn't set until around midnight, the curtains and sliding ceiling cover gave us darkness to sleep. The bed was the most comfortable of our two week visit to Iceland. We were in communication with the host after we departed because I left my tripod behind accidentally. We came back a day later to retrieve the tripod and had a great visit with the host. They are wonderful people, and care about their guests. No doubt when we return to Iceland for our third trip, we will stay there again.

If you are headed towards the Snæfellsnes peninsula or Westfjords of Iceland, this is a MUST overnight stop. Truly remarkable experience, words can’t even explain how fantastic this place is. The view is beautiful, it is remote - almost otherworldly. The unit (lodge) is brand new, immaculate, the windows are insane. Has all the amenities you need too. Esther and Pierre have done a remarkable job. It is a “bucket list” stay, 1000 percent.

Best place we've stayed in Iceland!!! Love all the thoughtful details and facilities of the cabin, as well as the stunning view and wildlife animals surrounding us there. We were lucky enough to see aurora at night and spot a family of seals sunbathing on the sea rocks in the next morning - thanks to the binos provided in the cabin. Overall the cabin is very well designed, clean and tidy. Space-wise, we didn't feel cramped at all even with 2 big suitcases and all our winter gears. And bonus to the shower that didn't spill water. The outdoor hot tub was spacious for two people and water was hot - the hosts had pretty much everything set up, we just had to remove the hot tub cover and put it back when done. Cooking utensils and cutlery were clean and good as new. They also provided a variety of herbs and even some pasta, rice, tea, chocolate and candies. The information booklet written and printed by the hosts was very helpful - all those little details added up to a perfect experience.

This property is a must stay in Iceland. We even cancelled our day itinerary just to stay in the room. The place is so clean, all equipped and beautiful. We woke up seeing aurora lights right above our bed. 2 nights in a row we saw amazing aurora light (red borealis). Like what the owners told us that it’s even prettier than what we see in the pictures. Perfect parking place as you do not need to carry your luggage and walk a distance to your room. Although there is a total of 4 units but privacy is great. The view outside the property is beautiful. Even at night you will feel safe staying there. Price wise is reasonable for such a beautiful place. The couple also made a handbook to explain everything you need to know about the room and about the place 👍. Please support them. If I ever visit Iceland again, we will definitely stay here again without doubts. Stay happy and healthy to the couple owning this place. ☺️

We stayed at Kria, and the view was absolutely incredible\. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by unspoiled nature. The place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I only regret that I didn’t get the chance to enjoy the hot pot because of the strong wind and cold temperatures. It would be a perfect location for viewing the Northern Lights. I can only imagine how magical the experience must be on a clear night!! Thank you, Esther.
