Relax in comfort inside, or outside on the front and back covered patios. With wireless internet, this is a perfect place for a work vacation. It is located in the center of "God's Playground" with hiking, fishing, rafting, ATVing, bird watching, rock climbing, hunting, skiing, horseback riding, mountain biking, kayaking available close by. Only 10 minute drive from downtown Buena Vista....close but remote!

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is your place. Waking up and going to sleep with a view of a lifetime is perfect. My teenager loved the loft bed and tv area upstairs. Although we couldn’t use the fireplace it was okay because with the heated floors it was so so toasty in there! Drive to Salida in 45 brek about 1.5 and 20 minutes from grocery and hot springs and horseback riding within 30 minutes. You don’t mind the drives because they are breathtaking!

Lisa was so great to coordinate with and the property was perfect for a weekend getaway. View was beautiful and we hung out in the backyard in the warm sun as well. Quiet neighborhood to walk the dog and also access to trails and downtown BV was top notch!

Wow, this place is absolutely amazing! You’re in for a treat. We came to Buena Vista to celebrate our nephew’s wedding. My brother-in-law always raves about Turquoise Lake nearby, so I knew we’d fall head over heels for the area, and guess what? We totally did! My husband is the one who found and settled on the property and Im sure glad he did. It was he perfect place since there are so many options. We ended up choosing this spot because of its amazing views and how close it was to town—just about 15 minutes from where the rest of the family was staying. At first glance, the property looked spotless, mostly. I’ll tell you why later in the review. The bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate, Beds are cosy and comfortable. Hot water for showers and good water pressure in both bathrooms. The kitchen and dining area was taken care of to perfection. The property felt safe and inviting, and waking up every morning to drink hot coffee and take in the views of the Sawatch Mountain Range was just heavenly. Now, there were a few things I wanted to mention that could be improved: (1.) the bath towel situation. I said everything was clean and immaculate, and But after washing your hands or showering, as soon as the towels became damp, that sour laundry smell was definitely noticeable. Please change to white towels. Your guests will thanks you. Floors- A bit greasy feeling. Just wanted to mention it. Great Stay. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Host was not nice at all she actually cancelled on us because she could not find reservation paperwork, funny they found the paperwork to bill us. Went through major hurdles to be cancelled on. This lady made the Alabama coach in the TV ad look nice. Just like the coach in her rules were NO FUN.

Beautiful cabin and location was perfect!! Loved the drive to the cabin and fishing access was close by, well as getting to town. Buena Vista is one of our favorite spots in Colorado- Collegiate Peaks, fishing, hot springs, St. Elmo, restaurants & shopping choices- it’s just beautiful!!

Our stay was a great experience. The views of the Collegiate Peaks from the porch just outside the kitchen are fantastic! We really enjoyed sitting out there both mornings and evenings. The hummingbirds provide lots of entertainment as they're a feisty bunch!Lots of hiking opportunities close by satisfied our itch to get outdoors. The boulder-filled landscape has a beauty of its own!The shops and restaurants in town were enjoyable and top notch.Ms. Lisa was always just a text or phone call away to answer any question or concern we might have. She was truly great to work with!Highlights of our stay were feeding the chipmunks at St. Elmo and watching the Burro race in town that was part of the Gold Rush Days festival.

Perfect getaway in an amazing cabin!

We loved staying at this cabin! It was close enough to Buena Vista, but felt very secluded. We enjoyed getting up every morning and having coffee on the back patio looking at the spectacular view of the mountains. Relaxing weekend in a beautiful cabin with amazing views!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this mountain cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful setting, stunning views, and thoughtful touches throughout the property. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing retreat — from a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and roomy upstairs loft area. Perfect! The outdoor space was just as amazing. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck with breathtaking views and evenings under the stars. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with all the charm and serenity of a secluded mountain escape.Communication with the host was smooth and responsive, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.
