We enjoyed our stay at Loft Osteria by Sagardi. In terms of location, you really canât beat it! San Telmo is lovely and the hotel is located in a quaint cobblestoned street that is quiet for sleeping, but close to shopping and dining options, as well as a grocery store and the market. The staff are pleasant and the simple breakfast of toast or croissants, coffee and orange juice was very tasty. We also appreciated the fresh towels each day. This is an old building, with some of the issues you might expect, but overall a decent option for travellers looking for a safe, affordable place to stay. I do think the room would benefit from a deep clean as it was a bit grubby in spots, but the linens were fresh and the toilet and sink were cleaned each day. One recommendation I would make to the owner is to attach a bottle opener to the wall in the mini-kitchen. The hotel provided two bottles of mineral water but you need an opener to remove the caps and I noticed guests had damaged the table and stairs trying to pry off the bottle caps, which is a shame. Overall, this hotel is a good option for travellers of the âcheap and cheerfulâ variety who just want a comfortable place to sleep while they enjoy their visit to Buenos Aires.
