Tranquil Retreat
My husband and I stayed here for our 18 year anniversary. It was more house than 2 of us needed but the hot springs hot tub made us decide to rent anyway. The front porch is lovely, the house is curated with care and feels authentic, unlike most online house rentals. The views of the snake river are amazing. We watched the full moon rise from the hot tub. We also loved that there was a TV to watch Netflix without our kids! Amy gave us a tour of her studio and offers permanent jewelry which is fun as well.

Cozy Cabin with a Great River View!
We had a great time here! The hot spring tub was very pretty and we loved how the overflow naturally created a creek feature running down the property. The interior was cozy and would highly recommend!

Perfect Location, well stocked Kitchen, and Private Hot Spring Tub!!
Sitting in the hot spring tub every evening watching the stars was magical! As a chef, I had all the appliances and cookware I needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the location is right in the midst of everything you might do in the area.

Great visit
Croas Nest was a great base for all of our adventuring. It had everything we needed. We were able to kayak to waterfalls, hike to waterfalls, and drive north to the hot springs. Drinking water was provided which was great since it was summer and dry. We would love to come back in the winter to really get to enjoy the geothermal water in the new spa/mini pool.

Exceptional and Serene!
I have been staying in VRBO's for several years and this is one is in my top five. The cabin is spacious and very well appointed. The geothermal tub was glorious after a long days hike. We enjoyed grilling and eating on the front porch overlooking the whole area with a beautiful view of the river. It really was hard to get going in the morning...comfortable beds, quiet peace all around. A true VRBO find!

Relaxing Sister Time
My sister and I had the opportunity to stay at the Cros Nest for a birthday celebration. The property was so clean and perfectly organized. We loved sitting on the front porch watching the sun rise. We listened to music, danced and sang out loud! We loved the soaking tub, especially being able to relax and look up at the stars. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property.

Cutest place!
This house is absolutely adorable! It’s so close to miracle springs and banbury so that was a huge bonus! I’d recommend going more in the winter because we got hot real quick and there isn’t much cold water to cool down lol (we also got there on an 104 degree day) We had 2 small kids as well and it was nice having an area outside where they could play, and they also had several board games inside which was nice. The hosts were really kind and accommodating. Highly recommend going and checking it out!

Beautiful location and home
Our family with four kids ages 7, 10, 13, and 15 were very comfortable here with plenty of space for us all. We, as the parents, enjoyed the privacy of the master bedroom while the kids were happy enough with the loft area. We only used the kitchen for breakfast but it seemed well stocked if we wanted to cook more. Those who enjoy tubs, enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. Beds were comfortable. Overall, a beautiful location and great comfortable stay.

Fantastic place. The hot spring water and both tubs are especially enjoyable. An eclectic collection of vinyl records provided an unexpected pleasure. Original owners hand built pottery was fun to see and use.

Amazing View of the Snake River from the Front Porch
We were not expecting to have such a beautiful view of the Snake River from the front porch. My wife and I spent every morning of our stay drinking coffee and sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch. You can see an osprey nest on a nearby powerline pole! The hot tub was a nice benefit. I would advise that the kitchen has no vent, which means the house will smell a bit like food for a few hours or more if you cook, so we drove into town for supper. It is about a 35-45 minute drive into Twin Falls, but only about 15 minutes to Buhl, and my wife and I enjoyed the scenic drive. We would certainly consider staying here again if we make a return trip to this area of Idaho!

Snake River Paradise
Amy and Jay’s home is a magical place to stay. Nestled in the Snake River valley, you will wake up to a spectacular view, and have access to many natural wonders in the area. After a long day of hiking, unwind in the hot spring-fed tub with a view of the stars. I have only one regret about our stay here... I can only give it 5 stars!

Incredible get away
The Property was beautiful from the outside in. It was exactly what we were looking for. Something away from our everyday life in the city that still provided a homey feeling to it. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. The main area is all open so keep it in mind if you are looking for more privacy with groups. would be a great spot for families or people that don't mind that the only bed closed off is the master bedroom. Definitely would go back again.

The "air conditioner" would not go below 85. The house was a furnace. The hosts were invasive and uncomfortable.

Jamie informed us the house was too hot for her. So we everything in our power to cool it down including buying an extra air conditioner at a cost of $450. After installing that so they would be uncomfortable for the rest of their stay they broke a different air conditioner unit in the house and did not tell us. Jamie did not put the correct number of guests on the reservation yo avoid paying the extra guest fee. I also had to charge her for a blanket that she took. Not a great experience. However, rest assured that the air conditioning in the house has been properly fixed and taken care of.

Fall Getaway
This house was the perfect weekend retreat for my kids and I. My daughter wrote at the desk in the loft and I enjoyed reading on the porch, hiking up the hill in the back for a gorgeous view and sitting in the outdoor hot spring tub in the mornings. Jay and Amy are lovely hosts. We will be back again!

We're coming back!
We had a lovely experience at Croas Nest. The house was very clean and nicely furnished. It is well equipped and social distancing was easy with our other couple since there is plenty of open space and two levels. My husband reports that he spotted over 20 species of birds from the front porch (bring binoculars). Amy was delightful to work with. The hosts even provided (for a nominal fee) a basket of freshly harvested veggies and home-made pies. Delicious!

Incredible place and view!
This cabin was awesome! It had plenty of room, it was very clean, and the views were incredible! When we got to the cabin they had the fans going and the coolers going and it was very refreshing,, as it was over 100° when we got there. I would suggest to those visiting the area to float the river from Banbury hot springs to 1000 Springs and experiencing blue heart inlet. Just breathtaking. Amy was awesome, the entire experience was just perfect. Thank you so much!

Ideal location to relax
We needed a place to get away and relax. This was an Ideal location. Large enough to have your own space yet cozy. Loved sitting on the front porch watching the Snake River and the Osprey nesting. Peaceful.

Relaxing Weekend Get-away
The loft area was not private at all. Beds were fine, but there is only lattice separating the bedrooms from the rest of the space. The stairs lead into one bedroom and you walk through it to the bathroom and then the second bedroom. Some appliances and electrical (lights) didn't work, but the kitchen had a lot of tools for cooking. We enjoyed the tub and the location is close to Miracle and Banbury Hot Springs. The kitchen/dining area is a little tight for people to move about. But we made the most of it and enjoyed our stay.

Memorable Thanksgiving Visit
The space wonderfully accommodated 9 of us 6 adults and 3 energetic children. We loved having the natural hot tub on the property and it was in use almost constantly. The warm floors and the wonderfully outfitted kitchen made it a perfect place for a family Thanksgiving retreat.
