Hummingbird Cabin
Was a very nice place to stay. Enjoyed the out doors and done some fishing, catch and release. Would stay there again. Pictures showed a recliner in the living room, which I always sleep in because of my back. But was disappointed that it had been replaced with a glider rocker. But all in all, it’s a very nice place to stay.

Perfect Eclipse Viewing
Our stay was exceptional. Ee showed up much to early for check in but out hosts were gracious enough to let us stay on the property to view the eclipse. We even got to visit with their very friendly dog. Once we were able to check in, which was earlier than expected, our cabin was immaculately clean. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. I left behind an item and the host was quick to reply to my message and we are arranging a pickup. Overall, everything was fantastic!

Peace and Quiet... So Relaxing
My husband and I decided to take a short trip for a little rest and relaxation for his birthday. We had a great time at the cabin! After spending the days hiking in the state parks and enjoying the beautiful scenery, we spent the evenings relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the peacefulness of the cabin. It was really relaxing and hopefully we'll be able to come back soon!

Hummingbird cabin
This cabin was very neat, cozy and clean. It's definitely off the beaten path. Nearest restaurants were about 15-20 minutes drive. There are other houses nearby so you don't feel isolated. But know that you'll have a decent drive to get to restaurants or other activities. Hot tub was wonderful. Host was responsive and everything was as listed. Enjoyed our stay!

fresh air and warm hot tub
We enjoyed the cozy cabin! had just what we needed. even tho small, spacious rooms! enjoyed the hot tub, some fishing, and a local winery one afternoon! close by - short 15 minute drive. **there was a Keurig, not just a regular coffee maker so bring K cups or there were some there! plenty of towels and wash clothes! the popcorn and danish were thoughtful! thank you for a great getaway and end to summer!

Romantic 50th anniversary get away
Over all a great cabin. There were a few minor issues. There wasn't any laundry detergent and no storage containers or plastic wrap. We went Anna and picked what we needed. We will definitely stay here again and will tell our family and friends about this cabin.

Quiet, relaxing cabin
We enjoyed our weekend getaway at this cabin. The location was somewhat remote, which we wanted. We liked the hot tub on the covered porch & all the recommendations left by the owners. We would definitely stay there again.

Memorial day getaway
Property was exactly as owners described. It was so peaceful and relaxing here. Made for a great mom and son getaway. The fishing was great, literally feet from the porch. Beautiful area. Clean and comfy! Only suggestion i have, is to spray for bugs inside and wasps on the grill outside. Will definitely book again.

Anniversary trip
Had a great time at hummingbird cabin! Cabin was the perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed the hot tub each night and even caught some fish. Cabin amenities were as described and the location allowed for relaxation. Would definitely recommend!

Restful and peaceful. A great place to see the Strawberry Moon.
We wanted a quiet place in the country to decompress from our hectic lives and just breathe. We got that and more. Our only regret was not renting for the whole week. I would add that if you have mobility issues the path to the door is steep. It was worth the walk, but some may need assistance. The house looked just like the photos. It was clean and the fans and air were on before we went in. It was an unseasonably hot few days. So that was welcome. The grill worked wonderfully. We did not use the hot tub, because both of us have mobility issues and didn't want to try climbing in. I would need an assistive device and I never ask for one. I've never seen one in a private residences. The house was lovely. I got to commune with nature in a clean, safe environment.

Birthday Stay
We had a great stay. Wish we could have stayed an extra day. Wanted to get away from the city for my birthday. Everything was as described. Weather was perfect. Loved the hot tub. Visiting dog was friendly. We had to rangle a couple salamanders that got in the house (that was freakin hilarious). Disappointed we forgot fishing poles, we will have them next time. What a Beautiful stay!
Host was super nice , helpful and easy to communicate with . We had checked in super late after midnight with no issues and the host was super helpful with giving us directions. The cabin was very clean as well as the hot tub which also has a privacy screen. Would definitely stay here again!!

Was hoping for a relaxing getaway
The property is not as described. The converted shed is only about 100 yards from the owner’s house. The owner’s house sits up on a hill that looks directly at the deck of the shed. It’s rural but NOT private or secluded at all, unless it’s summer and the tress have some foliage then the owners can see directly into the shed from the back of their house!! The “pond” is a retention area for drainage so don’t even bother with your poles. The entire place is not as pictured in on the site. Another falling down double wide is on the other side of this shed with broken down trash strewn around. The bed was actually so bad we left early, the couch had springs or something that made it awful to even sit on. Like I said we left early and in 11 years of renting VRBOs this had to be the absolute worst and only time we have left early.

Beautiful property and cabin, but we thought it would be isolated from other residence. It was a bit noisy our second night with a tractor running up and down the road and some type of machinery operating at an adjoining property on the same road. It rained most of the first day and night of our stay but we were able to enjoy the fire pit the next night. Glad we brought our own lawn chairs, though. The chair cushions next to fire pit were soaked. Also, please leave more than one roll of toilet paper for your guests. We had to buy our own. All-in-all, we enjoyed the cabin and our stay. Secluded weekend away
We loved everything about the hummingbird cabin from the location being secluded but also close to wineries, restaurants & groceries, to the hot tub on the outside deck being the perfect way to wind down each evening with a glass of wine. I surprised my wife with this trip and brought groceries to cook her breakfast, so was thankful for all of the kitchen amenities & cooking items. She was also very thankful for the blueberry muffins & Hershey's kisses that were left for snacks since we didn't get out much the whole weekend. The cabin stayed warm, the pull out bed in the living room was perfect for a lazy rest day. It was a great tranquil recharge that we needed! We hope to revisit in warmer weather to try some of the local hiking trails and wineries!

We had a Great Stay
We stayed over Thanksgiving week. The place in a great location, the property was very clean and well stocked. The hot tub was great. The pond its next to is a great view. There were some issues with the wifi and recliner not being there, as they just changed some things.. However, we called them and they helped us immediately with the wifi and brought over the recliner. We would like to visit some time again in summer.

Great getaway!
Cabin was perfect for 2. It got a little cold for us to enjoy much outdoors but the hot tub was wonderful. One and only suggestion is have for the cabin is ditch the directv and put another roku in there. Great area for wineries. Did a little walking at Ferne Clyffe.

We, overall, had a great stay. Good location for privacy, hiking, and biking. The only issues we encountered was in the bathroom drain, there was hair from the previous renters. Also, when we were trying to watch various R-rating movies on the television, there was a parental lock and we couldn't watch any Halloween movies at our stay.

Perfect Getaway Cabin
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this super clean and cozy cabin. Appreciated having the hot tub, especially on the first two nights when it was very cold. Went on some great hikes at nearby Fyrne Cliff State Park and visited a few wineries in the area. Caught several fish in the pond and the owner supplied a generous portion of firewood for our evening campfires. The location is somewhat rural , very peaceful and quiet , but also a bit of a distance from some of the local attractions. Geloria, the owner, was great to work with and responded quickly to any questions. We highly recommend this cabin where you truly get a lot of bang for your buck!
