Il Colle di Donna Ilaria is located on a small hill overlooking the beautiful landscapes of the Orcia valleys and the suggestive Crete Senesi, a short distance from the villages of Buonconvento and Montalcino, south of Siena. It is housed in an authentic farmhouse finely restored in classic Tuscan style and is located, in a totally independent position, inside an ancient farm with a viticultural vocation. It consists of two buildings, both air conditioned, and houses eight comfortable rooms in its largest version, furnished with fine furniture and spacious private bathrooms. In the main house there is a beautiful living room, characterized by the original barrel-vaulted ceiling and a suggestive panoramic window, which extends first onto the large terrace equipped with a relaxation area and dining tables, and then onto a vast and very well-kept expanse of lawn, in the center of which is the swimming pool. All around, as a corollary of this inviting setting, ideal for sport and relaxation, the placid regenerating atmospheres of nature, here the absolute protagonist, and at the same time many opportunities to discover the artistic wonders and the numerous villages that dot the city of Siena, about half an hour from the property. In a few minutes by car you can reach one of the most precious sites in the district, the impressive Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, a unique place, cloaked in a mystical atmosphere, immersed in an oak and cypress forest, which houses the splendid cycle of frescoes on the life of Saint Benedict, the work of illustrious Italian Renaissance artists. N.B. If you rent the property in this solution, no other customer will be present in the entire structure.

Interiors:

The house covers an area of about 400 square meters on two levels. On the ground floor, the lobby leads into the living area consisting of a large living room with fireplace (ornamental), dining room and spacious kitchen. All rooms are connected by French windows to the garden and equipped areas. On this floor there are also a double bedroom (with a divisible bed) and a twin bedroom (with joinable beds), both with an en suite bathroom with a shower, a laundry room and a bathroom with a shower. An internal iron staircase leads to the first floor (also accessible by an external staircase located on the side of the house), consisting of a master bedroom with private bathroom with tub and shower, a twin bedroom (with joinable beds) served by a bathroom with shower and a dressing room with a second sink, two double bedrooms (with divisible bed) with en suite bathroom with shower. The floor is completed by the TV room with fireplace. Air conditioning (except in the kitchen).

Park:

The property is part of a large farm but is located in a totally private position at the end of a private country road. The immense and open spaces that surround the property are perfect for walking or sports activities on foot or mountain bike, while immersed in nature. The park that surrounds the structures is spread over two terraces. At the exit of the French doors of the living room there is a large paved terrace where, protected by a gazebo, are placed tables, chairs, sofas and a long table for outdoor dining; from here a short ramp leads to the lower level, where the pool is located, in the center of a large area of manicured lawn and enlivened by lavender, rose and rosemary bushes. At the entrance of the property there is a large parking area where there is a column for electric charging of cars. N.B.: Please note that the photographic services are usually carried out in spring, so the colors and blooms of the gardens, lawns and parks may be different when you enter the villa.


Pool:

The private pool, in a super panoramic position to admire beautiful sunsets and available from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October, is nestled in the center of a large grass area, about 25 m from the house and accessible by crossing the lawn slightly downhill or going down a short flight of stairs from the terrace in front of the house. Rectangular in shape with terracotta border, it is 4 x 10 m wide and 1.30 m deep. It has entrance steps in a corner, internal spotlights and is covered with clear PVC. The sanitation system is chlorinated. The cozy solarium is equipped with a cold water shower, elegant sun loungers and a sitting area shaded by large umbrellas.
