Tillbringa en natt, en helg eller en vecka på en av de mest unika egenskaperna i alla Finger Lakes. Clifftop är ett paradis på 17 tunnland med oförglömlig solnedgång, Seneca-sjön och utsikt över byn. Ligger på toppen av en bluff och högt över sjön och njut av din egen privata förening, bara 1 mil från centrum av Watkins Glen, vid porten till den östra Seneca Lake vinleden. Vandra längs tusentals fot med klippfäste stigar, sedan ner till en magnifik ravin med flera vattenfall, flankerade av hemlock, periwinkle och stenformationer. Ta en timme eller en dag; koppla av i detta privata naturparadis. Vandra tillbaka upp till de många klipptoppstegen och ta in bi-balsam, skuggad tak och dagliga besök av de skalade örnarna och fiskgjuse som bor i vårt område. Eller "stanna uppe." Sparka tillbaka på däck eller gräsmatta direkt framför ditt rum. Sola bada, tupplur eller bara njuta av segelbåtar, västra bluffar och byn nedan. The Rookery, vår övre nivå hemlock lodge, har 2 kung sovrum (ett är en svit) alla med deluxe bad, inklusive 6 'soaker badkar och dusch. Det kompletta köket och entrérummet ger gott om armbågrum, och 3 altandörrar leder till 50 'x 9' däck, som ligger 200 'ovanför sjön, nedanför. Det stora köket har kvartsräknare, alla nya apparater, vackra lönn trägolv. Stor glaskamin. Ett kort avstånd från din bakdörr är ett vackert utsiktområde med ditt eget under stjärnorna eldgropen.

Cindy is a really wonderful host and was so helpful. Even before we arrived she contacted me to make sure I could find the property. She even gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy a long with many excellent restaurant and winery recommendations. The home itself is very cozy with a beautiful view of the lake. Fireplace is warm. Kitchen is large with all the cookware needed. Walmart is 5 minutes away for any supplies. Watkins Glen hike was made so much better by staying here. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage, clean with amazing lake view. Cindy, the host was awesome! She was warm and welcoming, made us feel at home immediately. Great location: only 5 minutes away to several restaurants, situated at the beginning of the “wine trail”, 15 minutes to Watkins Glen State Park, 30 minutes to the Corning Museum. Highly recommend this property. - you will not be disappointed!L H

We were traveling with friends for a long weekend in wine country. The house is near Watkins Glen and many wineries, breweries, and restaurants. The house was clean and beautiful. Both bedrooms had king beds and en suites. Every morning and evening we sat on the deck overlooking Seneca Lake. Cindy, our host, was gracious and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Relax & Enjoy the View

This Clifftop, beautiful, clean home with a beautiful view, with sunsets, sits on a clifftop overlooking Lake Senaca. The home is a perfect location to easily drive to the numerous wineries around the lake as well as downtown Watkins Glen. Anything you may want or need at this home is already provided. Hands on owners Cindy & Ed are more than willing to help you in any way. They even surprised us with a nice welcome gift. I can honestly say we were not disappointed in any way. We would definitely not hesitate to come back.

A Wonderful Weekend

Cindy & Ed are the nicest hosts you could hope to run into. It's rare to find people so friendly and generous. The recommendations were on point and we really enjoyed the area. Now to the important part - the house! Cindy and Ed made sure the house had everything you could possibly need. The space was even larger than I imagined from the pics. Very open with two large bedrooms with great views. The deck is a highlight, for sure. We saw an assortment of wildlife from the house, including a fawn, bunnies, hummingbirds, a chipmunk & two woodchucks. As city folk it was very impressive. The beds were also extremely comfy (and large!). Everything was fantastic and we highly recommend!

Beautiful Property. Incredible hosts.

It's obvious that these hosts used to work in hospitality. The house is so well designed and furnished, including the kitchen for those who actually want to cook, which I did. Luxury baths, incredible view, birds, waterfalls and walking paths, gas fireplace. Very close to Watkins Glen and Seneca wine trail. There is some noise from cars going by below, but I'm super sensitive to those things and will still be going back because everything else is so amazing! - including the hosts themselves who gave me lots of privacy while being very accessible and friendly too.

Impromptu Visit

Beautiful property, centrally located to all that Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake have to offer. Owners were great to work with, and they have a beautiful locations that offers a respite from the activity in town

Amazing Lake Views

View of the lake is amazing. However, the main road runs down the hill from the unit, so there will be traffic noise all the time. The unpaved driveway to the unit could be challenging for some vehicles. The unit is well appointed, well stocked kitchen, nice bathrooms and a comfortable bed. The couches were uncomfortable and could be updated. The owners live below the unit. Cindy and Ed were very friendly and even left some tasty local craft beer in celebration of our anniversary! We loved the area and will be back!

A slice of heaven on earth!

From the first contact with Cindy, I could tell we would enjoy our stay and she would be an amazing host! I was surprising my partner with a getaway for his birthday and had never been to the Finger Lakes. Cindy and Ed have a very cozy and comfortable home with everything you may need for enjoying a relaxing trip. It gives a french cottage vibe and was very clean and very “chicly” appointed. She had supplied us with a bottle of Riesling from one of the local wineries and Starbucks pods for the Keurig. There are two primary suites with very nice en-suite baths. (Both have deep soaker tubs and showers) both Cindy and her husband Ed were very respectful and responsive to any needs we had. The only thing I found issue with is that the online pics of the place don’t even come close to doing it justice. But that is probably a good thing for us, because I was able to book it with short notice😜. It was so conveniently located to the village of Watkins Glen, with the state park only being few miles away. And the drive from one end of Lake Seneca to the other was breathtakingly beautiful and only 45 mins. The wineries were amazing and the food in the area was fantastic. But at the end of the day, the views from both bedrooms and the massive deck were just amazing. I will definitely be returning and would love to see the fall foliage. Also, Cindy is very knowledgeable about the area and assisted me in dining selections/recommendations as well as helped me find a spa at Belhurst. ❤️ .

Amazing property with views

The property is beautiful and everything you needed was supplied. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and very clean. The view was amazing. I would caution the driveway is very steep and rocky, and the turn in was difficult. My only complaint was that it is not a private retreat, the owners stay in the garage and in the basement in the evenings, the spotlight comes on so enjoying that back deck is not private. There is also construction as a new house is being built. Otherwise, we were not bothered by the owners at all But it is misleading.

Amazing Lake Views

Cindy and Ed were great host. The house and location were great. Close to activities and amazing views of Lake Seneca. Highly recommend visiting the Watkins Glen State Park which has many beautiful waterfalls and views of the gorge. We would definitely visit again.
