Riverside Retreat - boater's paradise! Private dock on the Snake River.

Game room, private dock. Peaceful, uncrowded, wide area of the Snake River. Boats are sparse on the river, you will have 20+ miles of freedom to boat, kayak, canoe, jet ski, wakeboard/surf, etc. The house has easy river access and a private dock, just bring your favorite water toys or rent them in nearby Burley. There is no boat launch at the house, but the marina is a short 5 minute drive away. Launch your boat, then cruise on up to our private dock and gazebo area for the rest of your stay.

We are near the City of Rocks, Shoshone Falls, ATV trails, Pomerelle Ski Resort, Craters of the Moon and lots of other cool day trips. Whatever the season, you will find many activities, or just hang out and relax at the house.

The house is great for your whole family or multiple families, with three large living areas (living room, game room and TV room), two decks, 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The main floor has one bedroom, kitchen, living room, dining area and one full bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, a full bathroom and a TV room and game room. Lots of windows throughout the home let in sunlight and the gorgeous views!

Wireless internet, TV, fully equipped kitchen. All bed linens and towels provided. The two decks (one on each level of the home) provide areas to gather and enjoy the views of the river and its amazing sunsets. The large yard gives you plenty of space from the neighbors, and there is a propane grill. The lower yard has a dock, gazebo, and grassy space.

Master bedroom on the main floor has a California King bed with full bathroom next to it.

2nd bedroom (upstairs) has 1 Queen bed.

3rd bedroom (upstairs) has 2 Queen beds and bunk bed (2 Twins).

Dining table seats 10 with additional outdoor seating on the deck.

You will find all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting. Play outside all day, then head up to the house to relax and enjoy the sunset.

PLEASE NOTE: Our house is not set up to charge electric vehicles, and doing so will overload our system. DO NOT plug in your electric vehicle -- if you do so, you will be charged for any damages caused including but not limited to excess electricity charges, damages to outlets, and damages to electrical wires.

view

The view was amazing. The access to the dock was a little difficult, and we couldn't find the wheel barrel that was supposed to be available for transporting things down the trail. We enjoyed the pavilion and grass area by the dock.

This is definitely a four star property but definitely not a five star. The selling point is access to the river and a dock where you can land and launch jet skis, kayaks, and tie up your boat. A section of the dock broke on our first day. So we had to wade to the section with the jet skis. The owners were good about repairing the dock and compensating us, but the dock could use a little maintenance.There's path down to the dock and road. You're not allowed to use the road, so get ready to haul gas cans up and down the hill. There's a gazebo at the dock, and it's very nice, but also covered in bird poop and grime. There's water run down to the dock, but we weren't allowed to use it. Instead we were told to carry down a bucket and sponge.The bedding and towels are great. So are the beds, but the bedrooms don't have blackout shades, just privacy shades. So when the sun is up, so are you.The kitchen appliances are new, but definitely not fancy. There's the nice plates and plenty of silverware, but no nonstick cookware. If you want to cook some eggs, be ready to scrub some pans.The neighbors are a downside. They have dogs that are not well treated and bark a lot. Everything is good, but not great. So, it's a four star place with great access to the river. Would we stay here again? Probably, but we'd know to bring some things with us that are missing from place. The owners are responsive, but they do keep you away from some amenities that would make the stay better.

Great week at the river

We had a fantastic stay! Kim was a great host—very responsive and helpful throughout our trip. The house itself was beautiful, with stunning views of the river and plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. It was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for our group.Our only disappointment is that the property is currently on the market, so it might not be available next year. We would absolutely love to return if it's still an option!

River house stay

We had a great time on the River. The house was very nice and very clean. The house was well stocked with all the items needed. We were a little disappointed in the dock access. I had my elderly parents with us it was too difficult for them to walk down the steep road to access the boat. We remedied that by picking them up at the city dock in town. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Surfing the Snake

Nice location and home was just as advertised. Perfect for enjoying the river. Just far enough from the bulk of the river traffic but close enough to restaurants and Burley. We will definitely return for another 4 day weekend surfing on the Snake.

Amazing spot on the river

We had so much fun at this home. The area by the river is so nicely done. The internet had an outage which changed our movie night plans. The hosts were quick to reply to our questions and to investigate what was happening. No WiFi for a day with teenagers made for some great board game time! Thank you!

Amazing property and owners

This place is amazing! House has everything and the location was perfect, kids had an amazing time with the dock fishing and swimming and the game room. House also had all the utensils and it was super close and easy to access to spudman!

Wonderful place with nice river view

We really enjoyed the property. Kids can fish at the dock. Adults can enjoy sunrise and sunset. Nice view from both upstairs and downstairs. We couldn't ask for more.
