The Carriage House lägenhet (A) är en nyrenoverad lägenhet med egen ingång, brasilianska körsbärsgolv, badrum, queen size-säng, drar ut queen size-soffa, fullt gourmet kök med alla dina matlagningsbehov och en privat uteplats - en stor plats för att njuta av din morgon kopp kaffe eller eftermiddag glas vin. I vardagsrummet finns en 32-tums platt-TV med ett premiumkabelpaket som inkluderar HBO, Showtime och otaliga andra nätverk och kanaler.

Vi är idealiskt beläget på en pittoreska bostadsgata, gångavstånd till Church Street Marketplace, Burlington Waterfront, lokala stränder, cykelvägen och så mycket mer. Parken i slutet av vår gata har tennis, två lekplatser, fotboll, basket, baseballfält, en gemensam trädgård och hundvänliga områden för promenader och frisbee.

Södra änden sju systers stadsdel är unik. Även om det ligger mycket nära staden och universitetet är det väldigt tyst. Detta historiska läge är värd Citizen Cider, Arts Riot, Dedalus Wine Shop, Tomgirl Juice Company, Great Harvest Bakery, Zero Gravity Brewery, Queen City Brewery, Champlain Chocolates, Lunaroma Aromatic Apothecary, New World Tortilla, ett blomstrande Arts Community, allt inom några blockerar för att bara nämna några av kvarterens höjdpunkter. De flesta hus är på små mycket byggda i slutet av 20-talet och 30-talet och är utsedda historiska vid Burlington Register.

Beautifully renovated, clean and well-furnished with a full kitchen, laundry, sun porch, and sleeping loft for kids. Church St. market is a 1/2 hr walk; Lake Champlain beaches also walkable. Altogether satisfactory and enjoyable stay!

Wonderful stay

This is a beautifully well appointed spot. Off street parking. Charming private and quiet spot. Amazing cooking kitchen. Nice instructions and clear communication. Comfy bed. Enjoyed our short stay

My wife and I stayed for two nights over the Columbus Day weekend. We were up in the area for a concert at the Higher Ground, which was a quick Uber ride away from the apartment. In addition to the concert, we enjoyed ourselves at many local restaurants and on a great bike ride around South Hero Island. My wife's initial response when walking into the apartment was about how clean and perfect it was for our short stay. I thought it was exactly what we needed to enjoy our weekend in the area and was very pleased with everything.

Vermont hideaway

Lovely little apartment that really did feel like you were in the trees! The windows all around gave it a wonderful outdoor feeling. Easy to find, nice neighborhood. The pictures don’t do it justice. Would definitely stay here again.

Champlain college move in weekend

My husband and i rented this property to move our daughter into college and stay the weekend in Burlington. It’s perfect for 2 people, one night on the couch was comfy enough for her 1 night with us. The apartment is quaint and quiet. It’s located in a lovely neighborhood which was perfect for walking everywhere from downtown to the breweries near by. Once move in was complete we parked and never used our car again. Great rental! Highly recommend

Fun long weekend in Burlington

Went to Burlington for the Festival of Fools and to spend some time in the area. Visited the Saturday Farmers Market and the nearby Shelburne Museum which is impressive. There are lots of great places to eat. As for the stay, we were unable to use Dori’s as it had been accidentally overbooked. Fortunately her son had a rental available which had just been cleaned and was frankly quite a bit nicer than Dori’s so we stayed there. Dori was exceptionally communicative and helpful and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent from her again.

Wonderful Getaway

Spent a couple days at this Carriage House close to downtown in a sweet quiet neighborhood. Apartment had everything and more than we needed to rest and relax when we weren’t out and about town. We would definitely stay again.

A great long weekend in VT

We had a great stay at Dori's place. The carriage house had everything we needed during a long weekend in Burlington for a hockey tournament. We enjoyed the well-appointed kitchen and relaxing in the living room. Everything was clean and in great shape! It was a quick drive to downtown and hiking trails. Thanks to Dori for great communication throughout the process.

Super cute in a great location!

Perfect location!

This was a perfect spot for two people to get away. The building is in a quiet residential neighborhood so it is quiet and relaxing, and the downtown area is nearby so we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go! Check in and out were easy. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great neighborhood

Location Location and a very responsive host! Within a mile of everything we wanted to do. We did the bike trails with were amazing and enjoyed some good restaurants. Dori a very good host. The apartment is on second floor of carriage house. The sofa was not the one in the listing and it was very worn and saggy. Loved the little outdoor screened porch for morning coffee. There were a few housekeeping issues that we discussed with Dori. The outdoor patio was attached to Dori's next door house and we did not ask about it but it seemed to be her space.Overall a good place .
