Good dogfriendly hotel
Just stayed overnight, but it was very good for us travelling with dogs. Easy to walk them round the hotel. Perfectly good english breakfast. Good size room.

We stayed one night prior to a family wedding. The reception staff were very helpful and all staff were equally helpful. Could not fault breakfast, options covered everything and staff were again very helpful explaining how it worked.

only stayed one night. Hotel was full mostly contract workers. Evening meal, very basic menu and lots of dishes nor available limited choice , breakfast self service was very basic low rated hotel foods, bar every drink when ordered had to pay there and then Not sure what has happened to the British trust in people,, Would not stay again.

Dear David, every guest has the option to place a credit card pre-authorisation on their booking which allows for food and drink to be charged back to your room and settled on departure, My apologies if this was not mentioned at check-in. We do not operate bar tabs as the guest charge back to room acts as the. My apologies for the missing items from the menu this was caused by an exceptional busy week on food.Regards

At night there was rude children running loose until after 12. The air conditioning was broken and was making too much noise to sleep on the third floor, when it was complained about the staff replied ‘we know about it’. No lift from Friday night due to the children playing in it. The staff were respectful and generally helpful.

Dear Sandra, my apologies on behalf of the hotel for what you experienced, this was a very difficult weekend for the team due to a small group of rooms that visited Burnley and unfortunately showed no respect towards other guests or the hotel team. The team tried their level best to manage this situation in order to minimise any impact on other guests, however their attempts were not treated with respect by these guests.Please accept my sincere apologies once againRegards

Great location for what I required from this trip. Hotel bright, clean and tidy, food and beverages not outrageously priced and a damn good breakfast that set me up for the day. Would totally recommend for short stay business trips.

this property was as always extremely clean with lovely friendly staff an excellent breakfast and a good choice on the menu for our evening meal. The location is perfect for visiting our friends and relatives

HIE Burnley
I dont often use corporate hotels but on this occasion i did. Pleasantly surprised. Staff were very friendly and the service was very good. My room was basic but more than sufficient for a one night stay. Hygiene was very good. I had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and again staff were great as was the food. Would I stay here again ? Yes i would.

Lovely stay with dog
Stayed 1 night just before Christmas. We asked for a room away from the lift as we had a dog, and got a room right at the end of the corrider which was perfect. Hotel room was big, clean, bed was comfy with choice of hard or soft pillows. Breakfast was good and included in the price, the dog can sit in the bar area with you while you eat, although tables are very low there. There are grass areas around the hotel for the dog, or you can do a nice walk down the canal about 20mins. Not many hotels are truely dog friendly but this really was - we'll definitely return!

I stayed here for a short business trip and dined in due to poor weather conditions. The hotel was good, location is fine, staff were extremely good, friendly and helpful. Food was good. The room was good although rooms facing the dual carriageway did experience a little traffic noise at night. I would stay here again when in the area - ideal for business travel.

Great location great service
Great service , the girl on reception (and at breakfast) was full of smiles , enthusiasm and couldn’t be any more helpful! (Chantelle I think her name was). Room was clean reception inviting and had a good lounge area where I met a colleague the following morning.

Having stayed at a couple of your hotels in the past, which satisfied my particular requirements, I was delighted that despite technology having progressed faster than my ability to deal with it, I could still cope with assistance from your staff and enjoy the experience. our room was situated on the back of the hotel, 1st floor. The noise from the motorway traffic helped spoil our nights sleep and nights stay its right next to the motorway and very difficult to find. The bed linen did not fit the duvet my wife called reception to get it sorted and they did not what you want when you are ready to turn in for the night

Good location
Nice stay at this HI Express Right next to the motorway so some traffic noise but didn’t spoil my sleep in the comfy bed. Friendly staff and good free breakfast that’s included in the room rate .
