"Detta hotellet ligger centralt och nära Royal Mile. Trots att det ligger vid en trafikerad väg så är det tyst och lugnt. Rummen är små men funktionella och sängarna är sköna. Personalen är vänlig och hjälpsam. Frukosten är det som drar ner betyget; det är inte riktigt juice och den är väldigt söt, äggröran var gjord på äggpulver och bullarna hade tagit slut när vi kom 9 och det är en timme kvar på frukosten. Men i det stora hela ett bra och prisvärt hotell!"

"It was a clean and nice bed. Love the simpleness with the pod. Nice and helpful stuff. Possibility to leave the bags earlier on incheck day and outcheck day. It's a great solution if you stay in Edinburgh and you are okey with pods and community thinking."

"Rena och rymliga rum, trevlig in- och utcheckning. Bra spa och centralt läge. Det som var mindre bra var frukosten, rörigt och slamrigt, vi blev av med vårt tilldelade bord och fick flytta runt."

"Perfekt läge, nära till allt. Fina rum med skön säng, bra produkter, dyson hårtork, plattång, steamer, morgonrock, tofflor, fri minibar som fylldes på varje dag. Jättebra frukost på våning 7 med fin utsikt, champagne vid incheckning och champagnebar på kvällen med ostron uppskattades."

"On the pro side: - Central location with walking distance to most things (princes street gardens is 10 mins by foot, Edinburgh castle you can see from the window) - Better than average breakfast, with options to order complimentary egg benedict, porridge etc and a well assorted buffet - Hotel itself was ok quiet... but (read the con) - Staff was ok, especially a guy named Alex at the breakfast tables who took orders - Some ok restaurants in the vicinity (though not fine dining), loads of pubs of course. - Check-in was ok, there's a self-service option too - Bussline 2 stops just outside Cons: - Grassmarket square can be noisy and the less-than-great quality of windows means you hear everything on the street. World championships in football (soccer) was going on which meant busy and noisy bars (incl singing scots) until 03:00 in the morning. - Cleanliness is so and so, was dried up urine just below/behind the toiletseat. - Stairs up to the reception, means if got toddlers and a stroller you need to traverse these. - Tram from airport doesn't go near hotel (you'll need to change downtown or take a taxi) - It's family friendly 'ish. - Bathtubs (at least in the room we stayed in) are missing anti-slip, ie be careful when entering and exiting to take a shower - The sink in the bathroom is placed at a low height (like children's height), which is uncomfortable if you 180 cm tall (short) and was your hands or shave. - Hotel feels a little run down."
