“I still think about the Irish beef and red wine stew from their onsite restaurant at least once a day. Definitely worth the 11 hour flight and additional drive. Room was clean and staff friendly. Appreciated the in room oscillating fan that helped dry my toddler’s shoes after he jumped in the river in Gort. ”

“This was a lovely property in every way. Three spacious bedrooms, conservatory with a beautiful view, a cozy warm home, especially when coming back from a damp day. Bertie was very generous with her ‘welcome’ food basket, we hardly needed to go shopping. It is about a 10 minute drive from Miltown Malbay so don’t expect to be walking into town though. But once you’ve spent your day exploring, spending the evening at home was quite nice”

“We enjoyed our three night stay at The Twelve hotel in Barna. We decided to try staying outside of Galway and used bus and taxi to get in and out of town. The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious (we had a King suite). The morning breakfast was excellent. While Barna was not particularly walkable, we were able to take the city bus both into Galway to explore the city and take an excursion to the Cliffs of Moher, as well as to the ferrys to Aran Islands. Staff was professional and...

"We really enjoyed our stay, especially the nice breakfast selection and the convenience of having both restaurants and vending machines. Less convenient: Only two elevators and the stairs were not very easy to find, adding some waiting time in the morning when everyone is going to breakfast at the same time. Also swimcaps were needed in the pool which you had to pay for (3Euro, mainly inconvenient since we had to run back to the room). On the other hand, the pool and especially the outdoor jacuzzi (nice and properly warm) were great. "
