âThe location is a perfect ten, but the staff was far from good. First of all, it took us 1.5 hours to check in, and we didnât sense any effort to speed up the process. There was a complete lack of willingness from the staff to make our experience enjoyable.
Our room was also dirty, which unfortunately aligned with the poor check-in experience.
The Tan Hill has the potential to be amazing. It has everything going for itâexcept the staff, who failed to make our stay pleasant.â
âJust returned from an idyllic 2 nights at The Green Dragon. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment and it was just lovely. The bed was amazing and I could have sat looking out of the window the whole time I was there. A stunning location that is central to many wonderful places and the most amazing scenery. I canât wait to return. â
âWe had a fantastic stay at the Victoria. The family who owns this hotel are very helpful and nice. The location is excellen in Malhamdale with easy acess to hiking trails. Wonderful nature just out of the door. The hotel has a pub so no need to leave the village in the evening although Malham is only a 20 min walk away.
We will stay here again!

âWe stayed at The Foresters Arms in the king room for 3 nights. The service from check-in to check-out was very easy. The room itself was very roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The staff couldnât do enough, they were very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Places to visit, walks etc. The food was amazing, portions were big and the service was excellent. â

â5 stars are not enough for the George and Dragon - the absolute best care and hospitality can be found here! Such a gem in a beautiful village with so much history. All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. â
âWe took a spontaneous trip to Malham Cove for a night away.
This lovely hotel is down a quiet country road 1/2 a mile from the cove and near to several other pubs and cafes.
The building is very old and reached over an old stone bridge or the beck (stream)
Parking is available and the room was nicely furnished with views of the water and a very comfy bed.
The hotel and attached restaurant is completely plant based. I somehow missed this fact when booking but I neednât have worried.
